So clearly Dante not only previously owned the arm but knows its origin since he obtained it somewhere/somehow. But where would Dante get this arm? I don’t remember it from any of the DMC games nor the anime. I doubt its Nelo/Vergil’s arm. Hell the only person in DMC that I remember getting their arm cut off was Arkham and he died with both his arms… The only DMC material I haven’t checked is the DMC novels and manga.
Dante needs to hook up with one of these women. Damnit they cannot be going around being single! Its BLASPHEMY!

I highly doubt he literatly means it was his arm once. But there obviously some connection with the two characters now.
I don’t mean as a part of Dante. I mean it was in his possession like the Sword of Sparda was until he gave it to Trish.
Well, I got a little confused when you mentioned it as an item.
It could be anything. and I wonder if him giving that sword to trish was canon. I guess, but it’s not like she could USE IT at it’s full potency.

However, I kinda don’t like Dante’s face in DMC4…he looks a bit too old. I guess I’m used to seeing his face in DMC3, and the anime.
sano: yea, I was wondering the same thing for Belial, cuz in other games/mythology (Diablo comes to mind) Belial is a high end demon/devil, so seeing him in DMC so early in the previews makes me wonder if he is a high ranking demon.
Then again when I first fought Cerberous as a 3rd level boss, I was like “holy crap if this is the 3rd level the other bosses are insane” sorta deal.
Now I’m hyped for this. First day buy for me.

He looks fine to me. More like his DMC1 incarnation, as he should…
…It’s not like he has wrinkles or anything. He just lacks that young, young dmc3 look.
I’ll never know why having a little bit of stubble equates to being old.

No no arm in the manga or novels.
Trish having the Sparda blade is canon. A while back when Kobayashi was asked why Dante was using Rebellion in DMC4 and he confirmed once again that Trish has the Sparda blade. DMC2 aside Trish has it at the very end of DMC1 too.
