I’m on Mission 10 or so right now. I wanted to post up a mini-review but I don’t have time at the moment. Sep’s assessment a few pages back was right though - it’s Devil May Cry.
Also, I guess the trailers didn’t give away nearly as much story as we thought.

Beating Devil Hunter gives you all the same as above plus Game Clear Art: The cast, Son Of Sparda mode and the bloody palace.
Beating Son of Sparda mode gives you Bonus Clear Art: The Demons, 12 Publicity pictures, DMD mode, HOH mode.
*While Son Of Sparda mode is essentially hard mode there is one change. In order to progress to the next level you MUST get at least an A rank.
Beating DMD gives you Game Clear Bonus Art: Demon Invasion, Hell and Hell mode, Super Nero and Super Dante.
Heaven or Hell mode gives you Bonus Art: The ladies of DMC,
Hell and hell mode gives you Bonus art: Light from the Demon Blade.
*H&H is basically you die in one hit but the enemies don’t.
Blood Palace is in too. It has 101 levels, rankings, and is timed.

Well I guess i’ll start out on human mode and work my way through the difficulties then.
Beating the game on Devil Hunter will unlock everything on Human.
Plus its more challenging.
Another friend of mine rushed through the game on Human. He didn’t like the fact that Dante is basically Nero’s game in reverse, and he thinks its very odd that anyone would want to go play Nero’s missions with Dante since they’re basically the same damn thing.
Also, he confirmed they’re are no new costumes for beating Human.

So far its not DMC3 hard yet, although it has had its moments. WHY THE FUCK DID THEY GIVE THE MEMPHISTOS LASER BEAM FINGERNAILS?!?! :mad: Aside from Berial, there have been two bosses that I died at a couple of times before I got the hang of fighting them, one boss I just absolutely shit on, one boss I beat but with the help of green stars, and one boss that is still kicking my ass right now.

Fellas …Correct me if I’m wrong…but there is no region lock on xbox360 games right? So I can hypothetically go down to an import shop and pick up the Jap version and be all good? I know…the wait is killing me!!!

Just downloaded the demo on the 360, and damn that sh!t is fun!! I have played DMC3 and finished the game (but never played part 1 or 2), but I’m definetly getting DMC4, graphics look great on my 720p LCD 
360 games are region locked. Only PS3, DS, and PSP games are region-free (and Gameboy, if you still get those).
360s are locked but there is a way to switch regions iirc
i wasn’t hype about the demo, and after playin’ it, it seemed reped… still good though.

The part I really hated was
gameplay
In the jungle, when you had to cross the phasing bridge with one or two Memphistos attacking…and if you fell you fell into a pit where you had to fight 4 Memphistos and then start all over again. I very nearly threw my controller against the wall there.

Haha that part is alright, so long as you have a Charged Shot 3. Fire at the guys with it and they’ll explode and fall into the pit themselves.
