I must be the only mofo not excited about Nero. This game should have pre-Mundus Vergil in it.:lol:
It’s cool man :woot:

Bad news guys: DMC4 delayed until May’08!!!
:badboy::badboy::badboy:
Say what? If that’s true, then it makes me happy I don’t own a 360 or PS3 yet.
Nero officially looks ten times more badass than Dante.
That last DT video? GODDAMN.
I’m pretty sure he’s just joking.
Nope not true he is just screwing with u.
so how does the combo system work in dmc? i played and beat se but my combos and rank were always shitty. always.
halp meh!
Just keep it fresh and make sure you do different moves.
Those combo statues where you have to reach a Certain rank with a specific weapon and it will drop a Blue stone fragment. Those are good to practice on.
Just keep it fresh, and make sure you use all available options.Relax and try not to be panicked by anything(Which is hard to do).
Don’t compare yourself to the guys in those video’s,just like you wouldn’t compare yourself to Justin Wong in Marvel vs Capcom 2.Start slow, and build up until you get a feel of where you are. Then you can start going for specific ranks, until your normal average is an A Rank, and then aim higher
There’s not much to it really. You just have to remember the basic direction controls for your special moves, link those to your normal moves and switch to your secondary style and repeat. The easy thing about the system is that all your specialized weapons have the same directional controls.
Example:
Rebellion equipped x R1 + down + attack = Stinger
Cerberus equipped x R1 + down + attack = Revolver
Agni & Rudra x R1 + down + attack = Jet Stream
So start your attack with basic moves, start your combo with your first bladed weapon, launch them and put together at least 2-3 different attack styles. Mix in your gun work, sword work then switch styles and repeat.
Don’t get carried away. I’m sure Dante’s shit looks extra broken.
No, I’m serious. All of Dante’s weapons thus far have looked lame in my opinion (save the possibility of Yamato), the DT is meh.
I actually wouldn’t have minded if it was Nero the whole game.
Absolute blasphemy, and dumb as shit.
Style change + weapon change + new weapons + a little creativity = Gdlk Dante combos
You’re crazy…
I was reading through the DMC4 review in PSM3. They gave it a pretty good review (80/100).
Pros:
Good Variety between the two characters
Great Action
Good Visuals
Longer than DMC3
Cons:
Cheesy Storyline (expected)
Retreading environments and bosses when you switch to Dante
Busy work at inappropriate times (in relation to the story)
Side notes:
- The game’s difficulty curves.
- Red Orbs, which at the end of each mission are converted to Proud Souls, are still used as the currency for support items (Vital/Devil Star, Holy Water, etc). Proud Souls buy moves and upgrades.
- Nero is more adept at Aerial Combat than Dante.
- Grading System is just as harsh (expected)
- According to this review, you could argue that Nero takes much more time to master than Dante.
They explain all the forms of Pandora’s Box. Remember, it’s a firearm and it is best used within the Gunslinger style.
Form 1: Crossbow with Explosive arrows
Form 2: Bazooka
Form 3: Gatling Gun
Form 4: Glaive. A boomerang blade.
Form 5: Stationary Laser Cannon
Form 6: Mobile Missile Platform
Form 7: Suitcase attack (damages all enemies on screen)
Okay.
Cheesy storyline?
The DMC story has always been cliche to me.Never cheesy(Dante’s one-liners withstanding).
The Anime sure as hell was cheesy with all those “Stttrrraaaabellly Sundaes”!
