Wow… why would you release a game demo a week before the game’s release? What’s the point? Logically, to me at least, releasing the demo maybe a month before release at the latest would be best, since it gives people a taste and possibly more time to save up some money to purchase the game.
Ugh. WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT? It would’ve been better off not releasing the demo at all than a week before the game is supposed to be released.
And considering that Japan is a day ahead, I’ll have my copy of the actual game before you guys have the demo.
I guess Capcom figures all the dedicates fans of the series are going to buy the game anyway, so the demo is just for the people who haven’t paid much attention to it over the years and haven’t made up their minds yet.
:u: Hard drive install, disc coating, and I think the collector’s disc comes on blu-ray for the PS3 one. Also, the PS3 one is supposed to use Sixaxis in some way.
Well, all the other games have relatively fixed cameras, so I would imagine that, at worst, the camera controls would just slightly tilt the camera or something. Of course, I’m hoping it controls something else entirely, but I don’t imagine it would be too bad.
I hate when they use DMC3 as a the measuring stick for difficulty. I swear, once you pass Cerberus the game gets easier as you progress, not the other way around.
^It was the bosses that gave me hell. The normal enemies (except for those bastard fucking fallen angels) just stand around and wait to get hit like its Final Fight. Hell, some enemies run away from you.
The bosses had complex patterns and shit. Cerebrus whooped my ass. A&R whooped my ass. Beowulf whooped my ass. Arkham whooped my ass. Even Vergil 3 whooped my ass.
Hella random but in this week’s Anime Insider magazine, #53 there’s an article on the Devil May Cry anime. Anime Dante is on the cover too. What’s interesting is that writer Joe Chan wrote the article as if he was Dante talking about the anime! Wow, he did a really good job channeling Dante. Unfortunately, there is a mistake in the magazine. He called the sword Dante uses in the anime Force Edge instead of Rebellion. Other than that, it’s a pretty kick ass article! Aside from episode descriptions, he describes all of the show’s regular characters, his weapons and Lady’s weapons too. Some of my favorite lines -
Dante on epispde 1 which he called “The Rich Brat” -
“Besides, Morrison had told the pizza shop not to take any of my orders until I settled my tab. Jerk.”
“For some reason, the brat had demons coming after her. I ran into a few snags at first, since I didn’t want to expose her to demon guts and gore. Things didn’t go so well. Whatever, she’ll get over it.”
Dante on episode 3 which he called “Forbidden Love” -
“…Of course, nothing’s ever what it seems. There’s more to the story, but the important part is that I saved the world again.”
Dante describes his weapons Ebony and Ivory -
“People are always asking me about the inscription- “For Tony Redgrave by .45 Art Warks”- and I always tell them the same thing: None of your business.”
The magazine should be on stands this week in the United States, check it out if you can!
On another less random note, I keep forgetting that both DMC4 Lady and Trish made Play magazine’s annual Girls of Gaming issue! I’ll post up what they said about those too later! :lovin:
POSSIBLE SPOILERS
I know u guys probably know that the DMC anime sucks, but trust me it’s really bad. Imagine an anime that is 95% filler. Thats pretty much what it is. He runs around doing nothing and the fights are about 10 seconds each.
