I would imagine that takes place before DMC3 because Rebellion isn’t “unlocked”.

It takes place after, its been confirmed. DMC3 is the earliest, and DMC2 is the farthest in the series. DMC4 is either before 1 or 2.

It has to be after 1 and before 2 because both Lady and Trish are in DMC4 with Dante.

So it should be:

DMC3 - first meets Lady
DMC1 - then meets Trish
DMC4 - bangs both
DMC2 - both gone and probably seeking child (demon) support.

DMC4 takes place AFTER DMC1 but before DMC2. That’s how Trish and Lady know each other. DMC3 brought in Lady who then met Trish somewhere in DMC1. WHich leads straight to the anime which leads to DMC4. Besides, don’t you all know that the place that Dante goes to in DMC2 has the same name as the place in DMC4?

I’ve got it - Nero is the son of Dante, and the never-before-seen pizza delivery girl. Why is Dante always eating so much pizza? Because he’s tapping dat ass, that’s why.

In comments somewhere (YouTube? GT?) someone wondered if Nero was Dante’s son, and some otaku girl got really offended at the notion. She was like “there’s been nothing in the games to indicate that Dante’s had sex!” She took that shit personally, like Dante was her boyfriend and someone brought up the notion of him cheating on her.
