Do you just buster the spear?
And yeah, I think Dante is the hardest too, with Dagon being second, and I guess Berial third.

Whoa, you can throw it back at him?! How so?
dante 2 has a really simple AI glitch. stand on the platform in the middle, and he just keeps jumping up to you, and you buster him out of the air. this worked in devil hunter at least.
Anyone able to do the Max-act consistently? That shit is kinda strict with the timing
I’m assuming you have to use Devil Bringer from a good distance. Sort of like the first Agnus fight.
So I should be able to throw that Moth guy’s spinning blade thing back at him eh??
Yeah, just shoot the Gladius to stop them moving and then grab and throw them at him.
I didn’t know you could grab Credos spears. This game seriously just keeps getting more awesome.
Use the Buster right when it comes at you. Try to get a good distance to see it coming(at least half the arena), timing is a bit difficult when you’re a bit close.
Deathscythe: i didnt know you can throw it back at Agnus, gotta try it now:wgrin:
It’s like a Just Frame, really fucked up timing. I can usually get one off whenever I’m doing a combo though, I just try to do the normal IR and it comes out.
You can also buster the last boss’ charge move when he’s low on life. Just wait until he charges up the sword and then tries to charge at you and you can buster him. Typically I dodge his attacks for style points until he stops to flash white, and then buster him on that charge. The timing is pretty easy too.
So, it seems like you can buster just about anything anyone throws at you. Interesting!
Surrender!!
We Shall Never Surrender!
(it had to be done)
That’s why I love this game. Boss throws something at you…catch it and whip it right back at them. Awesome.
Also, Nero’s buster throws on Sanctus are just too good.
Son of Sparda shouldve been the normal difficulty :\
yea son of sparda is the shit. it makes you play better
Visual demonstration of throwing the spears back, and an all around awesome performance on the Credo fight.
:u: I was looking for a vid of that but I kept finding awful player vids. I gave up and just went back and did it myself. I got him twice in one battle and even finished him off with it. :bgrin:
Damn! He had Credo on lockdown most of the time. The ending was just so great.
Wow. I still have so much left to learn about becoming badass in this game.
It’d be cool if, for DMC5, Nero started to work as a freelancer at Devil May Cry. We could potentially have a game that featured Dante, Nero, Trish and/or Lady playable. Lady might not be that interesting as a playable character but Trish could be fun (provided she could fight like Gloria - short-range weapon, fast, very nimble/acrobatic, plus her Trish demon powers…ooh, a Trish DT).
Of course, then DMC5 has to also take place before DMC2.
From what I understand about DMC2, nothing really happened. It was all about Lucia and the evil corporation or whatever, and didn’t have much to do with Sparda, and Dante barely spoke. DMC4 could have taken place after 2, but then everyone would wonder why Dante went from outspoken to quiet back to outspoken again. Then people would wonder where Trish/Lady were during the events of DMC2 and why Lucia doesn’t show up for 4 (…would anyone care though?). It looks like Capcom is trying not to retcon 2 out of existance and explaining it as Dante taking his duties more seriously.
I guess the problem is, Capcom effectively wrote the conclusion to the storyline in 2…but they weren’t finished making games yet.
I’m betting 5 will directly follow 4 and again take place before 2. Either that, or Capcom just says to hell with it and retcons 2 out of existance.
Holy bajeezus. :wow:
Credo got OWNED.
