No offense taken man because it’s the truth. Tiers mean shit if no one is playing those characters in your area/popularity etc. I don’t mean to be arrogant and it probably didn’t show very well when we played, but I’ve got a pretty decent comprehension on things like mechanics and fundamentals. The only problem is really my execution. I’ve struggled with that ever since I started and it’s still a problem for me.
No I think people in seattle give up on 3s because they don’t really play it or practice it and expect to do okay anyway. Nobody likes to lose and it’s going to happen, especially if you don’t practice.
Yeah I always hope for that shit to be big here but for now I just practice shit on my own and hope I’ll have some new faces to play at some point. I don’t think I’m getting anything out of playing Jason and Justin over and over again.
Any Talk of " you can make the other Characters work top tier " is fucking retarded… Espicially when come tournament time you fucking picking Top Tier come tournament time like everybody the fuck else… It just makes you look dumb!
Yeah, I don’t care what anyone says, I totally agree. I’m not saying anyone in 3s can make it work, either, but there’s definitely possibilities outside of Yun/Chun/Ken. Definitely. In fact I tear up many Yuns and Kens with my Oro. Then there’s the Chun matchup. Ugh. :lol:

I can put up a fight with anyone I’ve ever played in Seattle at 3s and I don’t pick Chun Yun or Ken. That’s all that matters to me. Stop shitting on my parade and stating the obvious. Oh snaps, we don’t play the big three…that makes us auto-matically low tier players and unable to win? Uh…no.
I play Ryu and Q for god sakes. Do I plan on going to evo and big tournaments. Yeah, do I expect to play top 4,8,16,32? No. I hope to one day. But not anytime soon, a lot of us in Seattle and the surrounding areas play 3S because we simply like the game.
Nothing more. We know the tiers, we know the match ups…all that jazz…but we play who we like, sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.
But all in all, we always have fun, which is, I’m pretty sure the point of gaming and having a scene in general.
Yes, having a scene is important to making people better, and ours has, for all our games, Marvel, ST, Tekken 5 DR, CvS2 (Kinda) and 3S. But when random people just come and shit on us for playing certain games or certain characters is not needed and is fucking bogus.
So, instead of bitching and moaning about how “3S Sucks” or if “You don’t play Ken/Yun/Chun you fail as a 3S player” either
Don’t post. Or 2. Post something productive that will help the scene as a whole.
I.E. Places to play. Strategies. Videos of favorite players playing, or hell, even yourself playing. ANYTHING POSITIVE.
