Do you guys think it is worth it to corpse hop with crack kick over charge characters or simple going for a safe jump is a better idea. I was practicing vs a Honda and i think that denying him of the Ex.Headbutt wakeup was worth it, i reckon it might be a good idea vs Bison too.
It’s pretty rough now that Dudley’s buttons got buffed along with all the other buffs once he lands a hit. Doesn’t help Cody’s back walkspeed doesn’t outweigh Dudley’s forward walk.
You need to be buffering cr.LK>MK ruffian anytime you see ducking. This prevents him from walking all over you and allows you to regain some ground and breathing room. You really need to pick and choose your spots to throw out buttons and make sure they count. Dudley will be scouting with s.HK even more when he has a bar of meter. (which leads to corner carry, stun damage, and Oki you can’t do much about besides blocking.)
Getting knocked down is what you don’t want to happen because Cody’s wakeup options still suck. Dudley can do meaty overhead all day if he wants to and you can’t do much about it. Getting the knife helps but it still comes down to how well you play the neutral and don’t give Dudley buttons to whiff punish to get in for free.
What are my best options against st FP ? I am random cr mk and walking backwards to much
Ducking is easy to react to and good dudley will only use it on reaction.
Toward fierce rfc on reaction is very strong
ANY Dudley should be using ducking until they see you react to it. They won’t just flat out respect you because it’s possible. You’re both bully characters trying to disrespect one another.
IMO your best option is s.HP with the knife as a whiff punish. I don’t remember if s.HP [knifeless] works against it.
Fake rocks helps too to bait ducking.

Cr/st lp buffers seem to be one of the few things hat work in this match tho, I don’t want to lose that.
Ducking is like jumping its ok in moderation but shouldn’t work often against good people IMO.
Abel match up seems a lot better for Cody now, the only negative is that he lost TI frames on EX CU, but if I read a command grab I just use LK ruffian instead.
How are you dealing with the new characters?
Rolento is an enigma to me, dude was just like ae yun, doing whatever he wanted him my face with the pogo. And Poison doesnt really give me trouble, but i hate how late you have to zonk her fireballs.
Rolento st jab/block against pogo setups you learn to recognize them
In footsie cr jab buffer is strong will catch his st hp hurt box from near half screen!
His wakeup is ass you os vs backdash/backflip and still react to rainbow roll

You know that Hugo’s MP Clap total frame count is lower than the startup of Cody’s badstone? Can be a bit difficult to zone him out for a longtime though certainly possible. However 1 EX Meat Squasher when you throw out a far HK could easily be the end of the match.
Is anyone experiencing crack kick being hit by lows ?. I was constantly getting hit out of it by Guy’s cr.Lk ( i don’t have much Guy matchup experience so not sure if this used to happen in previous versions ), I was also hit out of it once by Ryu’s cr.MK ( I susspect this was more of a bad timing on my part).
