Yeah, and actually, you can’t reliably U1 EX Blanka Bal on reaction because it can go right through it. But I mean, unless he’s trying to chip you out, just block and punish. Ex Ruffian, U2, LK Ruffian, LK Super.  You can also stuff it with quite a few buttons.

So I found something insanely ambiguous you can do against Hakan in the corner. With proper timing you can land FJ.MP as a crossup. What makes this so ambiguous though is sometimes it crosses up, sometimes it doesn’t cross up, sometimes it doesn’t cross up and lands in front, sometimes when it doesn’t cross up it lands behind hakan. It always lands behind on a cross up though. <br><br>Might be worth exploring :)<br>

Yea i killed the recording and tried to re do it and holy fucking shit its hard to do vs rufus. Like hitting and landing behind is impossible on him it feels compared to the shotos but i guess it is an unblockable lol<div><br></div><div>I also guess there is a small window of overlap as i couldnt get the recording to work on boxer. it only half worked :/</div><div><br></div><div>Other question. So after starting to get used to osing my jump ins in matchups where it helps alot [ex CU vs viper] i am starting to wonder…</div><div><br></div><div>Do we have a comprehensive list of all character specific optimized/exotic option selects or is it still partially unexplored?</div><div>Like how you could zonk or mk ruffian viper but EX ruffian covers every single option she has. or with bison how a cr mk beats most options?</div>

Aybody wanna explain to me what Cody should be doing against Sakura…? <_<

I play keep away until I get her knocked down or in a bad spot. I then do things to her that would put Cody right back in prison. Sakura is really easy to pin down.  Zone her out until the time is right to go in.<div><br></div><div>That’s where I find success anyway. </div>

Also if she has no meter she is free to meaty/throw mixups. Just remember although you are slow i think cody has a better neutral game so zone her out like ramma said the wreck that ass on wake-up. EX zonk OS beats all of her options on wake up also

Haha yeah, it’s a life saver. I think the other links are way easier tho, so you shouldn’t have trouble with them.

What do you guys think of the Guile matchup ? Bad stone seems good enough to keep Guile away and eventually make him jump etc. I’m not really sure if rushing him out is the best option.

(Sorry if it has already been dealt with, I’m on my phone right now  )

Well, if he wants to play lame (which he will of course. He needs to keep Cody out like most matches), chuck rocks at him. He can’t match them. Once you have the meter, start inching your way in. If you get a life lead him and he wants to keep chucking plasma. Just keep throwing rocks. He’ll have to come to you eventually.<div><br></div><div>Wouldn’t recommend trying to zonk under his FBs for obvious reasons, but reacting to a sonic boom with EX Ruffian is easy enough. Once you have Guile knocked down, go to work as you normally would. Cross him up plenty of course. </div><div><br></div><div>It’s a pretty straight forward match vs a zoner.</div>

Thanks, patience is sure the key element in this MU.

I disagree with Ramma, i feel like you should always be moving forward and blocking to push Guile in the corner. Once he’s there he can’t do a damn thing except hope a random flash kick hits. Also if the Guile is hitting forward+fierce (the backfist) a lot, just do cr. fierce buffered in whatever; the backfist whiffs on all crouchers.<div><br></div><div>Another quick tip quickie you can cr. lk xx tornado in-between the 2 hits of Guile’s sweep.</div>

Any info about cody vs seth MU??
