I agree with you.
If my post seemed more rude than necessary, I apologise to Spinister. West’s character on this forum somehow proves infectious. However, when a guy presents themself with a link that way, it seems like you’re looking for pointers to tune your basic game in the right direction. Consequently, I felt I’d wasted time in watching the video.
From what I saw: all you really need to do to improve further is play more and build that experience up with the right competition. Being a true master of the basics will trump all the little tricks and extras to be added; all those things do is improve efficiency to the max with the opportunities you create. It’s more important to be an expert walker before you’re running. The remaining things you’re missing will all come along naturally.
nice matches, impressive against sagat

Great video of Yuu vs. Daigo.
Check out the reads on the block strings with fireballs, also a reminder of the strength of the tatsu cross up.
Just a great match to watch from both sides.
^really solid match.
Not sure if this is new, pretty good, though:

Wow, didn’t know you could juggle a SRK off an air hado.
Also works with red fb
also werks with normal fb
too funny how yuu misses the ultra at the end =)
by the way, why isn’t this topic sticky??
You can SRK off of just about anything that puts your foe in an “falling helplessly to the ground” state.
hey guys. I’m actually starting to pick up Akuma as a secondary to my Chun. I’m still a bit off with the demon flips and the regular bnb combos. Anyway, here’s some vids with me playing a random Ken on PSN.

Pretty nice akuma already. But you could have Ultra-ed his ass a dozen times. When he is focusing in front of you use your ultra. or when he tries to sweep you at wakeup. with a wake-up ultra i caught allot of people. don’t overuse it, but sometimes it can be useful. Nice vids though, the ken was also pretty good.
We got some work to do on you.
Thanks for the pointers. I realized that the Ultra isn’t one of those mash out type of moves. You really have to find those situations where you can successfully pull it off. I get a bit scared executing the Ultra, since I get punished HARD when it whifs.
I couldn’t help but laugh when I read that. But it’s sooo true. I don’t want to end up becoming a flowchart shoto.:wgrin:
I would offer a few training sessions now that I have an internet connection I can use to play games (how ever crappy it is), but unless you got the Xbox or PC version not much I can do besides give you some tough love.
loyal can we do some matches
i got the pc version and would learn from you

Yea if the match doesn’t lag too much I would be glad to lend a hand.
Some Tatsu crossups and combos… lol, this guy ate alot of crap on the first round ^^
But check out something interesting, the combo at the end of the first round got split to two, so it dealt ALOT of damage.
