I was just watching this video [media=youtube]uYBu_4nMoT0&feature=related[/media] and I started wondering why does Momochi uses cr.LP in his combo at 6:08.
The thing is, the cr.LP actually reduces the damage from the combo, as I tested it on training mode, though the combo I did was a bit different. I didnt pay much attention to the stun, but as far as I remember, it doesnt add that much.
So, does the addition of cr.LP makes the link easier or what? I still dont get it…
PS: I just love the announcers screaming. :lol:
It’s a hitconfirm. c.LP, s.HP is a good way to get the damage of a standing fierce but with a little breathing room in case the attack is blocked.
I think already everybody knows this, but i still didn’t. 
I saw some of the top players do a sweep at a focus attack and then ultra. So i wanted to try that. Then i noticed that it not only does the damage of the ultra but also of the sweep.
So this adds up to a total of around 693 damage. Which is a lot :wgrin:

mm, that would be fun to try. if it does almoest 700 damage, there wouldn’t be much left of him 
edit: i tried it and it does around 640 damage, he keeps i think 1 cm of health, maybe a bit less.
So never focus with seth 
I made a short video detailing the lp.srk > fadc > redball for beginners or for those who struggle with the timing. I still suck at it but this is what I remind myself to do each match.
