A good example of how to fight this fight.
More DP’s on her aggressive jumps. More demon flip palm strike into anti throw string. Once you get the lead make her work to take it back.

In fairness that guy was playing the match like, really well.
I don’t buy 6-4 Akuma, which you’re mostly likely to hear from Chun players. Definately a 5-5 as far as I’ll be concerned until Akuma’s learn more tactics for dealing with her.
Gay match, Akuma has to play like a *** coz of her footsies and Ultra. Check out Tokido vs. (Nemo, was it?) at Gods Garden. That’s basicly what it’s about, unless you’re just a better player than the other guy at the close game. With the right moves, Akuma can win with just air fireballs and Shoryuken, not much else that doesn’t get shut down.
[Edit] Whut? seems the site just censored a word in my post. They’re cutting out swearing now?
I know you kinda have to be defensive but you played to far away, which leave them in charge of the match. As others say before srk those jump in and don’t be afraid to put pressure after a k.d, if they sbk ex a lot, bait/punish it until they stop or be afraid to do so.
If they like to throw your demon flip a lot, do one to go over them with palm strike and ultra as soon as you get on the ground.
About that jump in, you can use demon flip + kick but you have to delay it a little. Regarding the Ultra you don’t have to be afraid as long as you pay attention to their charge.
Reversal srk on hazanshou is a bad idea, it’s -1/0/-1 on block.
i saw a replay on the pc version of you (shinakuma204)
you vs a seth player
was the match laggy or something ?
Yeah, extremely.
Which was weird because it reported the connection as yellow.
hmmm i fought the same dude but it wasnt so laggy
maybe you should wait a little longer the most connection shows yellow and in the
end if you wait the turn orange or red.
btw when will you do new vidz ??
Well you’re in Germany and I’m in Canada, so if you played him with very little lag it’s likely he is closer to you than he is to me. Which would explain why my connection with him wasn’t so good.
I didn’t know that.
I have some relatively new vids up.
As for the future I’m not sure.
does it take to much time or effort that you cant bring
or is there a other reason ?
Bahahah.
Well I imagine you can’t be playing and recording Street Fighter at all hours of the day. Eventually you run out of material…
he shouldnt do this all day or every our a day
but like when he goes to tournament or something like that that he records some matches
but not in sf =)
I mean I’m not sure when I’m going to have new vids up, not that I’m not sure if I’ll continue recording vids.
ok then i missunderstood it

damn ryu :). nice matches though.
^You could been crazy and tried for a cMK->Ultra under the fireballs to catch him when you were close but other than that, A-rod’s ryu really zones well.
Wude man you aren’t looking as sharp as you usually do. Then again you still managed to destroy a Sagat player.

Random noob here trying to learn how to play. I know my akuma needs alot of work.
Come and check my scrub Akuma who doesn’t know where or how to throw a fireball:
links a vid that shows I clearly know what I’m doing*
Seriously; apart from two common incidents of clumsiness in the matchup that are overcome with more experience, you’re on top of the character. There’s nothing crucial for anyone to add that you won’t gather yourself from further play with more competition.
I just know my place that’s all, you guys have great akumas I’m just aspiring to work towards what I see from vids posted here hehe.
Well he was right in doing so because there are still errors in his play, but at least he has shown an ability to learn. I’ll take a guy being humble over a noob with an overinflated opinion of himself any day.
I will tell anyone who says I am good that I am not good. Because I still make mistakes and it is the drive to be good that helps me get rid of those mistakes.
