ive done the loop against adon and honda, i didnt know it works on rufus… i didnt think it would work on sagat anymore and your rite it is not easy…

There are some set ups where you can get the round house consistently. For instance one against Abel is
DF Dive kick > c.MP > c.MP > s.LP > s.HK > s.LP > c.HK

PC & PS3, I didn’t try the stuff out on the PC but I highly doubt it’s any different, which character did you try it on? Sagat? Because it’s damn difficult to do it on him for me, but it is possible.
You can keep trying to hit far standing jab from as far as you can and try to link a roundhouse after it every time, you’ll eventually connect the jab on its 2nd active frame and hit the 1 frame link roundhouse after it to see it combo.

Well, I tried with my macro too and couldn’t connect it either.
While I can pretty decently connect the cr:mp: cr:mp: st:lp: st:hk: one. Maybe something to do with the timing on each link. If you cancel the normals maybe the timing isn’t good for the meaty st:lp: . I duno I tried it fast and slow, but no dice.
Ohh I guess you meant landing that precise combo in the video vs Sagat? I thought you just meant connecting a roundhouse after far jab, I honestly haven’t tried that exact combo vs him, he did look fairly close in the video to Akuma which is pretty weird, makes it seem like it’s Vanilla again. It’s probably all possible though since this game has weird hitboxes and pushbacks, I just honestly wouldn’t bother with it much, it’s very unreliable and a waste of time if you ask me, it’s already hard enough to be 100% with 1 frame links, now add to it random spacing and hitboxes and it’s just not worth it.

I though only cr:mp: could hurt deep enough the opponent hitbox (the tall guys) to make a meaty st jab possible right after it. On this video he use only lights to get the range, but with lights the opponent hitbox isn’t disturbed enough I think, when the st jab come out his body is already gone back (if you got me there).
I’m just using those point blank loop combos to train something else than the Usual BNB so boring at times. It helps me train the blinking, and overall exe.
I’ll give a try on honda, his hurt box is not high but hell wide and 3 cr:mp: combo possible. I saw Desk do a FA2 combo on him That’s my new goal. ^^

i dont think he is used to playing in tournaments… from the matches i watched he got stronger as the tournament progressed, and also he definetly isnt familiar with all the matchups…

Sup loyal, I have been watching Infiltration( the reborn infiltration) recent vids, to understand why he lands so many Ranging demon on world class players. There were other setup he use, but one that I noticed the most was; Sweep HK + Raging demon when some body is jumping on him.
Does he get a frame advantage when he use that set up?
A lot of times when you see him Sweep > Ultra it typically meant that he went for the sweep at the same time someone was jumping and he is simply reacting to the jump in by canceling into Ultra.
plus the timing is important since everybody will mash so you don’t catch them. And the timing differs from character to character. Infiltration was so prepared for evo. I heard recently that his friend laugh said that he was sure infiltration would take it since he had new technology but watching his footage of evo I only see great reads and footsies
