He uses st.MP, not st.HP, since an FADC’d HP DP is +3. However, since this is a counter hit/anti throw-tech setup, you’re likely to land a CH though, which does enable an easy st.HP link and really good damage indeed.

P.S. yeah, really congrats to FourWude for going so far in such a big tourney, 4th place is pretty godlike, too bad he had to fight Viper though, I still think she’s disgusting and there was only 3 characters that needed to be nerfed hard in AE, that was Yun, Yang and Viper, for some reason, Viper got buffed instead of nerfed, lol.

Four Wude if you read this, can you explain how you make your demonflip cancels so safe. It looked amazing but also amazingly unsafe at times. Am I mistaken?

Isn’t Ultra 2 a better choice for the Cammy match?
Why? U2 would only server to keep her from punishing your teleports, while U1 should keep her from jumping in on you or doing poorly distanced spiral arrows. You can also use U1 to punish reversal spikes you can block with safe jump setups.
I can usually punish blocked cannon spikes with U2 (I can’t really remember a case where it didn’t work). Does the distance that she falls backwards vary depending on the button that she used initially? It’s always the same isn’t it?
I teleport constantly because I am a terrible player…but yeah, I just thought it was odd that Daigo got punished for teleporting at some point in those matches on the previous page.
Well, as long as your smart with the T-port, you should be ok. But it is kinda easy to abuse it and kinda get baited, then punished. :arazz:
I supposed both have their uses, but I still prefer U1 in every matchup except the 'Kuma mirror match…

Really nice matches, Fujino’s use of U2 is exceptional, I think he pulls it out better then any other Akuma player (maybe except Eita), it’s literally winning him matches where other Goukis would have been forced to settle down with an average dmg into another mix-up to win them the game.
Yup, Ultra2, dash, dash MK Demon Flip pretty much fucked up Ryu. All Dp’s get stuffed or whiff.
Those U2 combos look so pretty.
Ye. Notice he mashed the unholy shit out of mk when he did the demon flip too, suggesting it needs to be done as early as possible.

Dont think so. U2 gives the most frame advantage of any of akumas moves, even more than pre-2012 f.throw. The divr kick hits really meaty, so it probably stuffs the dp due to hitbox reasons. Any delay should just turn into a block… I will test it tonight. U2 gives many continuations of the vortex. Dash, dash, instant cmd dive kick also safejumps 4f reversals.
