Oh Zid made the jouney over? One of the soundest guys in history. Well I’d have to plan beforehand. It’s about a 3 hour train journey and about 4/5 in a car depending on traffic. I couldn’t just come over for a day…well I could but there’d be no point. I have some relatives in London who’s house I think I could stay over at so I’ll probably make the plans for next year. Yo, MBR, I heard you got 4th losing to F Word’s Ibuki from a friend. That’s unlucky man, although F Word is a complete monster and has a really good Ibuki. Ryan Hart took it I see. I was disappointed by my own play in top8. Dropped combos, fail reads and non existent footsiegame. All because i dont have alot of xp against rufus ibuki and cody. Im satisfied by the result though my goal was top4 and I made it. Vids gonna be uploaded next week I guess.

What a surprise. The guy claims he’s better than Daigo, says he’s beaten Wolfkrone in FT10’s, says he’s better than Alioune blah blah but when it comes down to the crunch he’s either never there thanks to some convenient situation that had arisen or he just doesn’t perform. To be quite honest he was probably out looting during the riots knowing the type of person he is.
Anyhow, you can’t really be disappointed in Top 4! That’s crazy man. Andreas has a really good Rufus too but he’s beatable. A friend of mine almost took him out at a tournament last year using Bison but claims a laggy TV screen let him down else he would have beaten Andreas. Did you play Ryan Hart at any point, think you could have gone far against his Yun? I’m still waiting for Alioune to turn up to a SvB -.- I swear he’d win it. Alioune is Europe’s best by miles IMO

Yeah man, that stuff sucks. How is the UK scene meant to be gain exposure with no stream man. At least re-arrange the venue so there is internet. I think there is a lot of things I would do myself if I were to run a tournament but I just don’t have the money or time for it to happen, who knows…maybe in the future. I would love to put on a really good tournament.
What were your reasons for being so disappointed with the tournament? I don’t wanna turn up and get pissed off at the tournament because then it’ll just be a waste of time. I could easily spend the £100+ it’ll cost me much better elsewhere

Like I said im not disappointed with my resukt but my play wasnt on point at all. I havent had these tourney nerves since one of my first tourneys. Need to practice the less common matchups alot. I only know the most common matchups and was pretty clueless against rufus and ibuki. Oh, and dont pay attention to me scrubbin teleports against fword. I was mindfucked about throwing the ultra out.
@zidt yea man i heard i now think the risk reward vs rufus with u2 is abit fucked up now. Maybe i start using u1 again. Btw im back in holland just now and lost half my fightmoney because i lost my fast checkin papers and had to pay a hefty fine. Fuck ryan air
Btw i spent about 300 euros going there but my sponsor is gonna pay me back becausevI made top4. Tournament delay on all 3 days was abit of a downer for me.

As I said I played horrible (to my opinion) in the finals.
