We already defeated Sheng-long! The Akuma Video Thread

Nice one James.
I’m starting to think U2 is better in alot of matchups watching your videos.

Mordesai is the same like that.
Ferdi maybe an online warrior but he’s cocky offline as well.
Though he is social and is accepted by our community.
But we all think he’s abit weird sometimes.

Yeah but you can’t deny Ferdi is an insanely good player. Although, why did he boost with Pure Evil then upload the replay? lol

-6 @PSN

It’s starting…

Poongko vs Infiltration PS3 edition.

Someone needs to buy -6 an Xbox, I want to see how well he’d fair against the Japanese beasts on there. Correct me if I’m wrong, but is he not the #1 Akuma in Japanese arcades?

-6 is the #1 Akuma in arcades… so that should already give you a good enough idea of how he does against Japan’s best. Arcades are still the real proving ground there.

Also, PSN has a number of Grandmaster and Ultimate Masters prowling around. It’s a misconception that Japanese PSN is weak. It really isn’t.

He’s a fucking rage quitter, that’s why he’s got so many points…a friend of mine who plays blanka had him ragequit 3 fucking times.

I met him twice, won one, lost one. He’s pretty good, but I despise rage quitters.

I want to see those things done in real matches. Some of them look actually usefull (vs gen’s ooga for example) but most of those setups aren’t really applicable to a real match.

I found U2 REALLY useful against Vega. Wall-dive is a free U2 punish.

I like to use it in that matchup too sometimes, it also protects your teleports from his U2 punish. U1 is still awesome though since it can punish:

  • Backdash happy Vegas and there are a lot of those
  • Blocked EX Skyhigh claw
  • If they try to build meter with wall dives
  • Focus attacks
  • Jump-ins, his jump speed is fast and sometimes it can get difficult to AA SRK him properly

Both ultras are useful in this matchup IMO, which one you choose depends on your play style and the Vega you’re playing against.

Lol ask anyone in the CT thread. I went to some casuals today and people LOST COUNT of how many times I U2’d them. On reaction teleport xx U2 on EX SBK, EX Headbutt, Buttslams, teleporting through fireballs, etc. It was obscene

And my final video in this series is going to be just back to back clips of me using these punishes in real matches. Just be patient

It’s also GDLK against Fuerte and his wake up shenanigans.

Tokido’s live stream. Uploading more later. Going to bed soon.

Oh hell yeah, thanks Greg!

Rage quitting costs you 150 BB/PP each time. I quit during an extremely laggy match and when I checked my points 150 of them were gone. If he quits as much as you say, then he must make a shit ton of points to make up for it!!

Some people go as far as pulling the damn ethernet/power plug from their PS3s/360s, I think that might avoid any point deductions, wouldn’t it?

Is Tokido option selecting a fireball at 1:10 and 2:55? Seems like it to me. If yes and this is old, sorry as I’ve never seen it before.

Yes he is OSing fireball to beat out rainbow ball.
