You just haven’t played first person shooters on a competitive level then i’m guessing. I don’t know much about GOW but I played counterstrike back in the day. lets say a match is 5 v 5 and your team is defending trying to cover objectives, it would obviously be stupid to have your whole team covering one area for a “fair fight” so you need to be able to find safe areas to take as many people down as possible and inform your team about what you have seen.
so far the show is kinda boring…
also some of the shit is staged, like the drama between the 2 girls
i played cs competitively; there are no “hiding spots”. defending an area is not the same as “hiding”, and all the “spots” are common knowledge.
I played counterstrike heavily in 2000-2005. Usually the “hiding spots” are saved for pistol rounds, if you lost your 1st round.
So you can save your money for 3rd round, and buy actualy weapons.
Also, hiding, aka camping, is good way to protect a bombsite, also boosting up to certain roof tops, etc.
Hiding is part of the game, but then again its all about aiming. If you have godlike aim you can take out any one that has an m4 or ak47 with the usb or deagle.
