As I said, if any drama is to come from this it’s because YOU started it. Writing reviews is part of what I do. I also write a very un-biased opinion. Justin is my friend, but I was talking to him while he was attempting to do this. Knowing that he would be missing out on about 2-3 weeks for this show I feared would hurt him for France and EVO… luckily it didn’t (EVO doesn’t count because he lost to a really solid player and that had nothing to do with WCGUG2) BUT I also worried that the opposite would happen as well… that because he was spending so much time practicing for EVO that he might suffer on WCGUG2. Keep in mind that Justin had literally less than a month to practice Tekken 6, NHL, Mario Kart and all of the other games. ON TOP OF THAT When you get put on the show they give you a list of about 20 POSSIBLE games that COULD be played during the show, so he had to play games that he wasn’t even sure if he’d have to play in the house to prepare. With so little time to practice so many games and with him giving me updates on how he was having a hard time, that was what I predicted. I also took into account that he would be a target since he was a big name. If you saw season 1, you saw how the “unknowns” wanted to gang up to get out all of the big name players in the house.
That’s just how this show goes. It’s just a prediction blog. Im not the only one doing it… I was just one of the first to pump it out. You’ll be seeing IGN, kotaku all the big names as well as random people doing the same. It’s not to start drama, it’s because it’s something to talk about and it’s fun to try to guess how it will go. Not everyone is trying to start shit… apparently you wrote this post the way you did JUST TO START DRAMA, but considering you’re from the Something Aweful Forum it goes to show why you did it.
Tip: If you hate someone, the way to get them to stop being popular is to ignore them, not talk about them daily. If people stop caring that person will not be popular anymore. It’s as simple as that. People hated gootecks but they couldn’t stop talking about him and teasing him with videos about him… because of that he’s got so many hits on his stuff that he’s got sponsors and companies who throw offers at him like Machinima. By trying to troll someone you are making them more popular. Just keep that in mind. Take my blog for what it is… just something written to start up conversation and something for fun. If you want to troll me for it then so be it. That blog wasn’t about me in any way, it was about a TV show but you feel the need to keep talking shit about me whatever I do or say… so be it.
Oh yeah and thinking that Justin would have to practice T6 for this is a joke. Who in this should could possibly beat him in any kind of FG. Plus I know for a fact that he plays more than fighting games because every other picture of him where he’s not at a tournament, his face is shoved in a DS.
Starslay3r the only reason why people give you so much shit on this for is because of the rapport that you established the first week on these forums, not to mention how you continue to lie about your track record and exaggerate your wins and losses in SF4 even though ultimately people just don’t give a shit. It’s your own damn fault. There’s nothing wrong with having confidence in yourself but trying to continue to push that shit in people’s faces is why people are trolling you all the time and just don’t like you on these forums in general.
Bad Company 2 is gonna be Justin’s kryptonite. Unless he’s been practicing like crazy for that game, thats really the only game I can see him losing. But once it hits T6, thats a wrap for everyone else.
Justin’s not going to lose at any video game portion of this show, and since that’s how people are eliminated, I call him a safe 1st-3rd depending on if there are fighters in the final selection of games.
I think Justin should do well in the games portion, (who knows about the RL challenges, go go road hockey?) Hopefully he put in work on Battlefield though, that’s probably his biggest obstacle.
Also, does Justin follow NHL at all? Hopefully he does, if not lets hope he doesn’t pick the Islanders
Is this show going to be shown in Canada or do I have to stream this?
I’m only rooting for Faye and Justin since I don’t know anyone else (and don’t really care either…well except that one crying girl Starslay3r mentions in her blog).
Also, I bet if/when Justin eliminated, a good majority of viewers will go out the window.
