Actually, he’s not THAT far off from the truth. It’s more indirect, but Asian Males are among the top of least married race gender (for lack of a better description…Asian guys don’t get married much is what to take from it). So technically…Asian Women would go to the next majority to wherever they are…which are White Males in enough places. So thinking of it like that…it’s not far off.

So I’m at the end of episode 2 and…I think that AJ and Chosen1 had a moment. Along with that bromance video, I’m starting to believe that this show, while not necesarily homo, has a lot of spartan-like manly love waiting to happen.
Nobody denies a lot of Asian women prefer white guys. We all just deny that Faye wanted to boink AJ. There was nothing AJ did in the second episode that wasn’t awkward or embarrassing. In addition to all those creepy things he said and did around/about Faye, he and Chosen1 even did the most uncomfortable looking handshake-hug in the history of television.
Gamer chicks are sort of like sports chicks. Their attractiveness shoots up because everyone expects them to be dogs. Jennie Finch, Sharapova, Kournikova, Danica Patrick, Gina Carano, etc. Hey, they’re all nice-looking ladies, but they get boosted to sex symbols because they aren’t homely or manly.

Clearly you’ve never met 90% of the FG community, or a ton of gamers in general. The VAST majority of gamers nowadays are your average college/high school guys, not nerds who have no social lives. Go to some VS game tourneys, hell, even some SSF4 tourneys, there are far more normal people there than nerds, most of whom are more than capable of getting a girl like Faye.

In all honesty, I’ve seen Asian females with geeky white guys, but these guys at least had something going on. AJ was Comic Book Guy without the store. I don’t need to add anymore analogies.
Faye wasn’t being manipulative in the truest sense, she’s just had to keep playing nice because because she doesn’t know how to turn him away without losing her main source of attention/friendship. (which she subconsciously desires so much from her “kawaii =^_^= yatta act”)

The levels of yellow fever in this thread make me lol. This probably applies to my area only, but I could guarantee that a good majority of white guys DO NOT have a chance with asian chicks, and if they do, it doesn’t even last long.
I am not doubting that. It just really annoys me when people on forums “rate” women out of 10 and usually giving them low scores. This whole thread about the show has been mainly people saying the chicks are hot, average, or below average. Kind of along the lines of what Wong was saying about the typical stereotype of a gamer. There’s some hot gamer chicks on the show, we get it. Anyway, just seems disrespectful to me.
