Imagine they face off in elimination and for the game chosen, one of them is great at it but sucks at most other games and ends up eliminating the better overall gamer. Would create so much drama.

I don’t get why they would do that, I raped him at CTF and I don’t even play fighting games and he got really angry and raged to himself about why he was getting raped (although I’m right next to him and obviously hear him…) and then when he was leaving he looked like he was about to cry.

Nah, he peaked at ST and is/was decent at a couple fighting games but he’s garbage in the rest. There are a lot of people on SRK that are better than DSP as overall gamers and unlike DSP they aren’t physically handicapped so they are capable of performing those WCG challenges and they have a personality beyond constantly raging and complaining.
I don’t know why people are getting mad at the show, it’s not about competition, it’s about entertainment. From a stereotypical standpoint, getting gamers to perform physical activities for the lulz. It’s pretty obvious that Kat and Vanessa, along with Yaz, made it so WCG could bank on the drama and entertain those that like those kinds of reality shows. They want the conflict between Kat and Vanessa and they want Yaz to be involved. Did you guys see how Yaz got put on blast at the end of the first show when he was questioned about choosing who should be chosen. Also makes me question if circumstances were manipulated such that Yaz would win and then pick Kat. Faye made it on because she’s a huge attention whore backed with the show needing an Asian girl for all those gamers with yellow fever, but at least she’s not too bad at what she plays, for a girl. She was at one of the tournaments my college hosted, she seemed chubby and annoying in real life, then again, I actually have standards. I’m watching the show to see Justin run people over

It’s funny because when it comes to fighting games, Justin is such a strong personality, but on this show he’s just the quiet guy in the corner. Sure he tries to gives tips from time-to-time, but he doesn’t really say too much.

Justin plays it smart. He knows he is on tv. You don’t want to look like an asshole and have it recorded forever.

That’s exactly why i want to see DSP on the show. He’s constantly bitching and rages too easily. Makes for great entertainment.
I’m glad DSP isn’t on WCG because I would definitely avoid watching it.

Even Justin had to audition. Wait in line, play the games, go to interviews, etc. Nobody simply gets “asked” to do the show. DSP is full of shit. The closest someone got to coasting in was Yaz, who auditioned for season 1 but couldn’t join due to his contract with CGS.
