This thread is intended to discuss and plan for the next Western Canadian major. Dates, games, city, venue, format, finances, etc.
WCC1 took place in Edmonton and I’m personally hoping it takes place either here or in Calgary next year. Alberta makes the most sense geographically in my opinion, but everything is open to debate.
Shiro, the thread’s all yours. Feel free to lead the discussion.
Cool, we still dont have a date and venue set up but its nice to see that we have a thread to discuss things about what we want to have at this tournament.

Wherever its held I have one suggestion make sure the local hockey team is in town 
Sorry WCC 2 will be held in Edmonton. You wont see T10 held in Ottawa.
I’m hoping to have SF4, T6 and of cores the usual line up of games
Theoretically ST:HD will be out then. Dunno how popular SC4 will be at that point. Also I’d recommend running the new games on the PS3. I’d still recommend trying to get a university group going to get a free facility. Start of a new school year lots of fresh blood out there.
You never know, I am hoping to run everything on a ps3, since EVO will be running sthd and sf4 on ps3
Only other suggestion I have is to give the tournament a diffrent name. I’ve got no ideas for it though.

I found two random Edmonton guys on Live who were pretty good too. I told them I’d try to convince it to happen.
I’d deffinitly want to add that game in. Ijust hope it meets the 16 entry limit
