…damn that slipped by me, despite the fact that I heard it over a million times. Is my age affecting my memory so early on? :looney:
Vasili, I might have asked this before, but the information in the plot guide that pertains to Makoto; is there more yet to be revealed details on her story? Or is that everything?
There may be some more ThunderKick; I can’t say for sure yet since I haven’t dived into SF3 material seriously yet much less 3S material. There’s very little revealed for Makoto, Remy, Q, and Twelve as opposed to everyone else, so I don’t expect to learn too much more.
It’s cool. Well here is hoping there might be some surprises. And here is hopefully hoping for her return in the next Street Fighter.
@ SagatRyu
Any numbers on how much much force would it take to make a mountain shake? I say that from watching Gouken’s punch against the mountain in the first SFIV trailer.
here are the trailers contain the anime cutscenes and here is the anime movie trailer.

Edit: Endings in Tekken 5 range from 38 seconds ( Yoshishmistu ) to 1:29 seconds ( Heiechi ) Soul Calibuer 4 endings arent that long either with the lowest one be Taki’s at 1:03. So SF4’s endings 1:05 endings are about right for a fighting game.
edit: now the anime cutscenes in the trailers could be from the movie. there are ways. the quality of the anime cutscenes could have been scarficing when making the movie.
edit: Oh and the fact that The anime movie comes on a Blu ray disc is indeed proof that the quality of the ingame cutscenes have been scarfice.
Ok I think I know and understand what Siegfried is talking about, because I just finished watching an intro with Ryu, Seth, Guile, and Chun-Li and I can see why Sig described it the way he did.
Looks bad but I don’t mind. The anime movie looks good so we can fall back on to that.
I need to see the intros so i can compare them to the anime cutscenes from the trailer and the anime. The anime contains extend cutscenes from the game. so i need to look for the following
1 DNR
2 Edge enhancement
edit: now If the Movie looks good, this is indeed prove that the anime cut scenes have been heavly compress to fit into the game and quality has been lost in the process.
Sorry Strugler, I should have said I watched only Ken’s, but I barely some him in his supposed intro so that’s why I listed the other characters. However it was just one clip.
I’m going to have to see another clip in better quality, which might help but I don’t know.
They also got Kaneto Shiozawa to voice Vega (Claw) in SF EX games too, who also voiced him in SF2 TAM and SF2V. Everyone else was voiced by their voice actors from the Alpha series.
edit: T.hawk I grew up on saturday morning cartoons like Sonic Satam , Megaman , TMNT 80’s cartoon, He-Man, GI Joe real american hero, The Pirates of Dark Water and The Tick. so i am used to low quality stuff.
Edit: I think Naurto might be a Saturday Morning cartoon over in Japan.
you can check the anime yourself since gamestop has uploaded Ryu’s anime intro (which i love) and you can comment on it in the appropriate thread since this thread is for canon sf and we derailed from that. i take the responsibility here lol sorry
Edit: Ryu’s hadouken or Shinku Hadouken is effin fast I say that it has to be at lest travel near the speed of sound in other to be able to do that to the water. no wonder he has to be able to dodge bullets. cause if he couldn’t dodge bullets then how is he going to dodge a hadouken.
T.Hawk what to you think the speed of Ryu’s Hadouken or Shinku Hadouken is in that Intro? with the anime now we have feats, now we can see just how fast Ryu’s Hadouken or Shinku Hadouken is outside of the game.
edit 2: If Ryu’s Hadouken and Shinku Hadouken is effin fast then Guile’s Sonic Boom must be ultra mega effin fast.
Prologue video is very simple, not bad at all though. Better than still images so I’m happy. If SF4 is successful we will get much better quality I bet.
I was expecting the animation quality of the prologue to be on par with the Ryu vs Gouken, and Chun Li clips that were released earlier, but the animation quality is much lower. Still nice to have as an extra, nonetheless.
