Guile’s ending reminded me of Nash’s Zero 3 ending…

In Bison’s Super Street Fighter II ending, he says that not even the “Ancient One” was willing to fight him. Who is he referring to? My thought is either Akuma or Oro, but neither exist yet, and neither are particularly ancient, although Oro is very old at 140+. (But he isn’t invented for sometime, so it’s doubtful he was meant to be referenced.)
I just replayed through the game yesterday with Bison and the ending always bugged me.
Part of the reason it may bug you is because he never said it in the Japanese script. That line was made up by Capcom USA, and yes back when SSF2 first came out no one knew who the “Ancient One” was. I suppose you could argue that SSF2 was shown to be the latest unfinished version of SF2, but once SSF2T came out, EGM and Gamepro started publishing that the “Ancient One” the dictator mentioned in his ending was indeed Akuma. If you see Dictator’s Revival ending, both languages, you’ll notice that the “Ancient One” reference is nowhere.
Hey vasili, if you get the chance, you think you could translate some of the moves from the SF4 movelists pages? I’m mostly interested in throws and special normals. I have most of them, but I’d like to double-check. And I can’t read most kanji, so I don’t know Abel’s stuff at all aside from “something nage” and “something geri”. Thanks.
Note: For the most part, I only need the new character’s stuff. Though I suppose Chun-li’s new special kicks would be nice.

I suppose I can tell you this: You know what Bison was up to during SFA3 with his Doll Project? Let’s just say in the interim between SFA3 and SF2, he perfected the process and found a way cheat death. He, as mentioned, has multiple backup bodies, Seth being one of them (there are two others in SFIV; one is immediately obvious, the other you can probably figure out). Seth, though, obviously wanted to go his own path instead of just being Bison clone no.15 or whatever, and he’s especially not pleased with Bison returning, hence why the events in SFIV are happening.
And I’m sure I stated it before, but Viper is simply “new female” rival for Chun, taking the place of Cammy (and Rose? Not sure). Nothing beyond that.
Vega’s bodies could be around even before the Zero series, just look at Cammy. Although, Vega’s body could be aged artificially, like it is with his SF2 (and actual?)body. But that’s not Cammy’s case, since she has a official birthdate…
