Not a new fighting style but a fighting style ‘new to Street Fighter’.

So in other words, it sounds like they’re ahem borrowing a skillset and moves from another character and applying them to this one.

And given she looks a lot like an SNK character, I would be somewhat concerned about getting say Leona or Whip again.

Also I think it’s been posted we’re A)Getting Akuma/Gouki (natch) and B) he plays a pivotal role in the story…

HMM… Will Capcom DARE show us him physially KILLING Bison? Or someone else like Adon? or Sagat?

Reminds me a bit too much of KoF, but she’s okay I guess. It’ll really depend on how she plays.

For the record, I have no problem with “KoF-style” (read: well dressed) characters in SF. Even before Remy showed up, Dudley was there, as Rose and Eagle. But this lady, besides having a rather lame name (and what’s with that hairdo? The thing on her head mostly, not the long tail[???]), looks like they just took Seth, Vanessa, and Elizabeth from KoF and mashed them together with a new head. :confused:

As for story… yeah, I’m thinking ties to what’s left of Shadaloo myself. Ties to THE ORGANIZATION (I refuse to call it the Illuminati) are also possible.

Got the Harvey Birdman game today. Along with Guile, Dhalsim also has a cameo! In the second case there’s a question where they ask you what is different about your office. See, everything in Harvey Birdman’s office has been stolen. There’s an answer you can pick that says something like you are going with a ‘Zen’ look. Well if you pick that option you will see Dhalsim in his yoga position hovering in the area where Birdman’s desk used to be!

BTW Akiman didn’t draw a girl of the month in Gamaga magazine this month. This happened around the same time last year so I’m assuming it’s his month off.

Viper reminds me too much of Josuke from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. I hate Josuke. I hope that wasn’t an actual reference. The rest of her is nice, but that hair’s freakier than SvC Guile’s. Are Japanese guys really into this shit?! My god.

Hella late noticing this but I spotted this while flipping through Gamaga magazine. In Capcom’s We Love Golf for the Wii there’s a few costume swaps so players can dress up like Chun-Li, Arthur, Jill Valentine and Apollo Justice! :clap: Some images here, but they are costume swaps, not character cameos like the below article suggests lol!

Psycho Crusher

1 week elapsed as Vega secluded himself in the laboratory of his own hideout.
He was continuing to devise an experiment for the sake of psycho power amplification.
Those contents of the experiment to say, namely fighting stylists kidnapped during their battles, it was said that the anger and hatred from the opponents would be things to attract a conversion to psycho power.
Now at this place, from this room there wasn’t a single such existing person come forth. Literally Vega had to have prey in order to profit from psycho power. Certainly for one called a “demon” it was said to be likely an appropriate deed.
However now, Vega was feeling with a strong resentment that psycho power was a contentedly demoted matter. Speaking of it the latest one to come was just a fearful mere 2nd-rate fighting stylist. He himself would not face the anger and hatred of opponents unless, there was no declining on psycho power amplification. Before his own eyes there’s no significance in how many opponents if they’re in the manner of fearful ones and such.
Other than to oppose a great power it was a craving and persistent controlling greed, Vega’s darkish lust cried to swell up to its limits.
Such at that time, news of the fighting stylist called Ryu entered his ears. That man to say defeated that Thai hero Sagat.
"…Interesting! It’ll be to say regrettable to defeat such a degree of man for the sake of psycho power, perhaps I’ll enjoy it to my heart’s content…"
As he would express a bold smile from Vega’s entire body, blue fighting spirit blazed.
"Ryu…I will quality test you, with Lord Vega’s strongest technique. Hurry and appear before Lord Vega, you cannot help but aim for the strongest man!!"
The instant that was declared, Vega’s body revolved in midair transformed into a blue and white flash.
Were he touched by an instrument as an iron pole the vomitting splitting screams, would have one turn to candy for care.
The “demon” Vega’s strongest move that exceeded human intellect, is the “psycho crusher”.

Gouki from SFZ2

Shungokusatsu

Master Goutetsu spoke of a forbidden technique, “shungokusatsu.” With this move, it was said that one’s own life would be cut off in a moment of unparalleled intensity. That is, control utilized by “satsui no hadou”, was said to run wildly until that life’s very end.
Gouki, pronouncing all ancestors “fools” for sealing this “shungokusatsu,” selected his path to break that ban on his own.
“To become fighters, true warriors of the fist must possess all power that can be utilized. Those who ban techniques cling to life in stinginess, which this warrior of the fist does not!“
Gouki filled himself with confidence. Having controlled the ancestors’ “satsui no hadou”, the “shungokusatsu” was utilized. But Gouki’s own self changed. Usually when collecting “satsui no hadou”, to acquire manipulation of it many years past became a piling heavy burden. “Who exists that is stronger” now became the wish, and this request would be answered with the spraying of blood incited by training. The forbidden move was done. He selected Master Goutetsu as his opponent. As there was about to be a fight to the death, the opponent had no deficiencies.
”…arm yourself now!!” The spirit kept secretly inside exploded, the cells of Gouki’s entire body rose in sound with a resonating sensation.
…several hours later, Gouki’s entire body in blood returned a scarlet hue, as he moved and saw the master’s corpse.
Hadou’s ultimate move “shungokusatsu,” armed with “satsui no hadou” that struck the master, was complete.
From then on, Gouki walked the long “path of carnage’s” first walk.

Ryu- Continual Pursuer
Having studied and sublimated in the techniques under Master Gouken, the splendidly isolated street fighter who piles on his drills daily. His life condition and might is in attracting numerous fighting stylists. Desiring the path of the “true fighting style” he’s journeyed out into the world, that power is such that it aims to engulf him into a plot intrigue.

Ken- Red Lotus Fighting King
Ryu’s disciple brother is his pal, and also his greatest rival. Representative of a syndicate in America, he’s the son of the noble Masters family. A new life due to his pregnant wife, in order to respond to re-battle pride from Ryu, he takes Eliza’s own encouragement to set out on a trip.

Crimson Viper- Ms. Perfect
Tough and smart female agent. Always moves businesslike, yet doesn’t seem to steer towards duty or humanity. Having trained her entire body as a weapon she draws forth attacks from her suit, certainly a menace. Secretly maneuvers in various places, her true nature wrapped in mystery.

Aw heck, I’m feeling copy pasty today. Here’s a window of forthcoming material that Lord Vega requested over the holidays: Vega’s quotes and dialogue from Zero 1:

1- You don’t even qualify to be a member of “Shadoloo”!
2- There’s no victory from simplicity!

After battle:

Vega:
"…You felt to pursue justice and such so-called idiotic things… While possessing the same power…how foolish!!"

With Rose now defeated, Vega has become, the lone transmitter of psycho power. Is the one person no more, who could crush Vega’s ambition of dyeing the world in darkness?

Consider any discrepancies concerning his Z1 ending that I posted in the past overriden by this post, not that it should matter much anyway. #12 above is specifically directed toward Nash and Rose, and #5/#16 are the same quote directed to gals and guys respectively. Whew, this should tide people over for a while…:sweat:
