Chiseled out over a period of thousands of years, stopping the silence at the ancient ruins dotting the inner forest, appeared 1 man a fighting stylist smeared with humiliation.
“I surely will not lose!” Many big trees he struck and saw the blood from his own fist, the man yells out in agony. That was once Muay Thai’s throne which he reigned on, the title of “emperor” he grasped as the invincible tiger, it was Sagat.
Having been at the top of the Thailand fighting world he hadn’t realized defeat since during childhood. Just nothing but continuous victories seemingly maintained by his own all, pounding his fist in every time seemingly dissolving feelings…that is, within Sagat a great fear was remaining as such. This unknown word fear he would seem to shake off, Sagat’s appearance vanished unexpectedly from the Thailand fighting world, 1 man had been starting the pursuit of knowledge in isolation.
However, without warning the region was knocked into defeated confusion, Sagat was appearing crazy on a grand scale, with his fist just striking in vain repeatedly every day.
…From that fated struggle, how much time had passed. During the pouring rain, Sagat’s form continued standing. "I will not lose 2 times! With that guy’s crushing power, this chest was harshed with an opposing fist of “that move” certainly with my hand put out!"
His own mental power blocked off in complete delusion, the moment Sagat determined to return to battle, hatred and rage the feelings that moved lively throughout his whole body of that man, his grasped fist focused on gathering tremendous ki.

Guy once again mentions an Evil Surge, I’m assuming this is much like the darkness he spoke about before in his quote to Rose correct?

More or less, “afterbrain” also translates to “medula oblongata”, so yeah she’s saying he’s missing some blocks up there in the ol’ noggin.
Once again? I don’t recall him mentioning “evil surge” again elsewhere. Did you mean in Rose’s Z3 ending or something? Point of mention, “surge” was translated from “hadou”; he does say to Chun Li “evil hadou” literally.

Yeah not mentioning the surge directly, sorry about that. What I meant to say was like how Guy sensed something was out of whack, like evil was afoot like he did with his quote to Rose in the game, when he said -
“This connection’s disorder…do you also sense it? What is it awakening

- So I’m wondering if he was talking about SNH all along as opposed to other things like Psycho Power or characters from Vampire/Darkstalkers lurking about. Suppose it’s still speculation either way though.

Ok gotcha. No I don’t believe what he says to Rose is along the lines of what he says to Chun Li, and I doubt he’s talking about SnH specifically. With Rose he’s actually anxious and worried, while with Chun Li it’s more general and hypothetical. In other terms a word of forewarning or concern with Rose, and a word of advice to Chun Li.

Since my T-Mobile phone, a Motorola Razor let’s you log in to T-Mobile’s site from the phone to downolad games like Super Pac-Man and Q-Bert like I have, I had no idea you could download Capcom games on a T-Mobile phone, I thought you could only do it with Cingular. Well, posting this up just in case anyone else doesn’t know. I downloaded Mega Man II, Lost Planet Trag Zero that’s a new game and a prequel to lost planet and of course SF2, all pretty cool and a lot of fun!
On SF2 on the cell phone it seems like everyone has 2 win quotes, both are generic. Chun-Li retains her “I am the strongest woman in the world” quote and another one, along the lines of “You can’t defeat me!” or something like that. Zangief says something like “Next time I’ll rip both of your arms off!” and instead of Ryu saying “You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance.” he says something like “You did pretty good but you’ll have to be a lot better to defeat me.” Interesting.
Can’t vouch for endings or whether or not they are in the game because I beat it on the easiest level (getting used to the controls, it’s not so bad but takes getting used to) and like the old SF2 NES days the game told me to try again on a harder level. So I’ll practice whenever I can and see down the line if there are endings in the game or not.
In other news, on PSN - the online network for PS3 for the last 2 weeks they’ve been giving us PS3 owners free downloads of a Heavenly Sword anime (short 2 minute clips) and reports of how they are making the game. Anyway in the last ‘Making of Heavenly Sword’ vid I noticed an animator of Heavenly Sword with the second player Resauras Necro toy on his desk! HA HA THE SF INFLUENCE IS EVERYWHERE! :lovin: With my digital camera I took some pictures of it and these are the best images I could get of it. I took a close up picture of Necro too ha ha!

No one knows the true name of this Taiyo High junior and classmate of Batsu who’s clad in shorts and a leotard. She’s learning karate through the mail but relies more on her arsenal of small weapons. She’s also a bit of a scold.
ORO
This old hermit is 140 years old and only takes in young disciples who seemingly have a future at fighting. In spite of his many battles Ryu’s the only fighter he truly respects. He also loves to ride astride jet airplanes.
RAIZO (Rival Schools)
The founder and now principal of Justice High and 35th head of Hino Ninja who’ve altered things in Japan over the ages. Many, like the father of Batsu, oppose his undue influence. Raizo looks a tad roly-poly but can slice you in a flash.
REMY
A dreamy French guy who’s got a male model’s physique and shoulder-length silver hair and hates fighters due to his dad. With his hate in his fists he defeats foes and also keeps his big sis’s body frozen in the Golfe de Biscaye.
RUBY HEART
Her ship flies in the skies and she’s teamed up with Sonson and Amingo to find her treasure: The legendary Armor. This gal pirate wields treasure chests with ghosts, barrels, knives, and cannons from her ship to win her battles.

Sounds like it takes after the console versions of SF2; those gave everyone only two generic win quotes. For Ryu in the consoles the quote was fixed from the arcade’s text and said “you must defeat my dragon punch to stand a chance!”, while the other was similar to your post above sano.
Ah thanks as always because I so don’t remember the quotes in the SNES version lol! I’ll look for Ryu’s other quote in the cell phone game, so far I’ve only seen the one.
I just bought it, it should be pretty different though. Since I already have Eternal Challenge.

Both books have individual art. Eternal Challenge is more of an artbook than the 15th anniversary one though. EC is also larger (the pages are larger). I recommend the Japanese version of EC, slightly better paper quality.
