I was thinking about Hugo and something just hit me. We know Capcom said he put on an “amazing performance,” and that he took a Shin Shoryuken from Ryu without getting KO’ed.
But how do we know that his “amazing performance” wasn’t an evaluation on his tournament performance as a whole as opposed to his fight with Ryu?

I thought the “amazing performance” referred to the overall tournament performance, with him taking the Shin Shoryuken just being an example of it.
Random - Not only is Toshiyuki Morikawa who provides Ryu’s voice in most of his video game appearances doing Dante’s voice in the Devil May Cry Anime, Atsuko Tanaka (most famous for providing Motoko’s voice in Ghost in the Shell) who does Chun-Li’s voice in SF3 Third Strike, CFJ and Namco x Capcom is doing Trish’s voice! BRILLIANT!!! :lovin: Anyway, the anime is currently being fan subbed, 2 episodes are subbed and there’s a raw of episode 3 so far. Adon also still, became a name for Muay Thai, from the very bottom of living did he not crawl up alone as a young one. Within the jostling of numerous rivals, he suddenly took a chance. Sagat’s eye stood still at the match he was watching. Other than himself out in the distance a great competing opponent before him, struck blood flowing, indeed the fighting spirit would not escape from that young one’s eyes, Sagat was seeing himself piled up from old times.

Sagat placed Adon under his care, throwing him into that philosophy of his own techniques.

On the journey’s way to pursue Sagat Adon disappeared alone, on occasion crossing fists with numerous fighting stylists, Adon was assuring that Muay Thai is the strongest martial art after all.

The young warrior having brought forth his own answer, sooner or later he’ll likely meet his master and the decided battle, as with his burning fighting spirit.

On most artwork Dhalsim’s skullls around his neck don’t look like child skulls but like tiny adult skulls. I guess the designers know that their eye sockets would have to be much bigger. Any comments?

Well baby skulls have extremely large eyes and child skulls, depends on the age I guess. Do we know the age of his dead children?

Makes me think, were they all about the same age, since they all have the same size and shape. Maybe they just didn’t spend a lot of time thinking about it, or they wanted them to look like shrink heads and later decided they were his children.

Correct, it says they are not HIS children. Still they are children so they should look like skulls of children, not just small adult skulls. Plus it doesn’t state any source, just that his son is still alive.
dorkie, I don’t remember what book I scanned the picture with many Necros off but it’s on the first page of All About Book Vol.19 SFIII NG The Fighting Bible, so that’s where I might have it from.
Looking for it, I took a closer look at Necros stage in SFIII NG (artwork not ingame sprites). It shows underwater equipment (diving suits) and octopuses, which makes me wonder if Necro is partly an octopus (at least in SFIII NG).
