You’re welcome sano. :bgrin: Nothing unexpected or surprising unfortunately, just everyone within character. Sakura still considers a win against Ryu as nothing more than a fluke, Ryu says don’t hold back, Leo’s got his destiny keeping him going, and Felicia still fights her nature as a beast of the dark and wants to befriend as many as possible.
Vasili10 - As soon as I put those quotes up at gamefaqs I got more requests, oooh… well, I’m making you famous at Gamefaqs at least… anyway, MikeJwright asked about CFJ’s quotes to Chun-Li to Vega and vice versa and then Chun-Li to Urien and vice versa. Um, is that cool? There may be more requests, I hope it doesn’t get too crazy oooh… the stuff you do for SF storyline is much more important…
Thanks sano. Keep’em comin’. Quotes are good breaks from long narratives. Got Chun Li from you already so Vega and Urien when you can please. Thanks.
Cool. I appreciate it. :woot:

> The Anita/Rose connection is nothing like this.
Yes it is.
> You tell me why the 1 picture we see of Anita grown up shows her looking exactly like Rose.
Because she DOESN’T look exactly like Rose. For one thing, their heads are totally different. Hey, Ken and Ryu have the same outfit, so Ryu = Ken, right? And furthermore, if you look closely, their outfits aren’t the same either. Similar in design, but definitely not the same. Maybe they have the same designer and they both ripped off Lisa Lisa, but that doesn’t mean they’re the same character.
> As both games are by the same company it can only make you think that they were hinting towards them being the same. I mean, if they wanted to suggest anything other than them being the same person, they would have made them look different.
Get your eyes checked. They DO look different. Different heads being the main difference, but different outfits as well. They are not the same character. Get over it.

No need to be such a prick. I just stated my opinion on the topic in a polite mannor, shame you can’t do the same. If it bothers you so much then don’t reply to my posts.
It’s obvious who really needs to ‘get over it’.

Vasili10 - Isegrim of Gamefaqs asked me to thank you personally and requested Guy and Mukuro’s quotes and vice versa (ninja conversation) so I’ll send those along too later today.
Cool. Anytime. Thanks very much.
Hi everyone, btw. I’m sorry I don’t post here as often anymore. It seems that my crappy job has taken up more of my time than I realized, but I’m gonna try to post a lot more translations in the near future. Gill’s bio has been added to ‘Lives of SF’ and Cammy’s bio has been added to ‘SF World’ so I think I’ma skim through those and look for any new information(doubt there is, tho). Chun-Li’s bio has been added to ‘Red Cyclone’ and I haven’t even attempted translating it. It’s just that trying to make sense outta’ translations using a crappy internet translator is such a pain. A lotta’ the time I just don’t have the energy for it. I can’t confirm it, but I think there’s a very good chance that Yun’s birthday is September 9th. Btw vasili10, thanks for all the translations you’ve provided us with. Peace out for now, everyone.
Sure thing sir. Keep checking back whenever you can, and thanks for your contributions.
Is that a commentary on Vega’s apparent pedophilia?
Possibly. The account wanted to stress that the fan (woman in the old pic I presume) is past the age of consent.
Although, this having been released long prior to Cammy much less the dolls, I’d think that few would see it like that.
I wouldn’t call it that, she seems to be nearly an adult. That Mr. Malik guy got exchanged by Dr. Senoh.
Not necessarily. Mr. Marik is stated to be a technician or engineer. The doctor canonwise is stated to be a researcher from Vega’s SFZ2 ending. No name specified.
About his name, sorry if I contributed to the notion in the past, but his name isn’t Senoh. The Fanbook doesn’t give him a name, and neither do the SF2 AM credits. He referred to as simply “old man” there, and the Fanbook calls him “old doctor” or “old professor.”
The kanji combo for “senoh” means “brainwashing.” Sorry again for the confusion.
Hey sano, do any of your movie books say anything for the doctor’s name?
Oh I think he is named Senoh in the Plotguide too. More work for Tiamat. Can one of you recognize the person on the picture on the wall in that old drawing of Vega (upper left side)? I posted the link one page back.
Top of the head is cropped, but kind of resembles Hitler.
I thought so too. That would fit to Golden Dragon’s Nazi-Shadaloo theory from some Japanese site and SFIIAM.
You know, the story of SF was way more interesting back then than it is now with SFZ3 and SFIII. Thanks to vasili10 for all the info from the old books.
I will get a lot of Japanese Capcom books soon, but like always, no promises till I have them. If everything works as planned I will have a lot to scan and you will have a lot to translate.
Is there any source for the official SFEX storyline? The characters would be a lot more interesting if they had a detailed bio and story.
Sure thing sir. I welcome the challenge, as long as the load is spread out if I’m still the only one doing the translating. :bgrin:
I’ll throw up scans of it later.
There has to be something to the name Dr. Senoh the name Saiki said he was called long ago. (Also said it could be pronounced Snow.) It may have been the name Capcom gave him when they used him for X-Men vs. SF (Nash’s ending) and SFZ2 (Vega’s ending)or something even though they still failed at giving him a bio in AAC. I say there has to be something to the name because beat CVS2. One of Capcom’s Employees calls himself Dr. Senoh(As you know Capcom Employees often take names of Capcom characters, someone who worked on CFJ calls himself V-Joe, there’s really to many examples to list.) On top of that, In the HK SVC Chaos comic they have a scientist that looks a lot like Dr. Senoh with a beard whose name is Dr. Jones which is practically Senoh spelled backwards. Well, that may just be a freaky coincience but I myself doubt it.
EDIT: Woot! Woot! Dangerously close to 300 pages.
