But the difference is, unless I am mistaken, that you cannot earn these in game. Imagine all the cheats you earned in Perfect Dark or Goldeneye cannot be achieved by playing it but rather, via DLC. That is some bullshit.

Gamers these days are lazy. They’d rather pay for cheats/buffs/what-have-you than earn them. Companies are just going with the mentallity of gaming these days.

You may not like it, but guess what? You’re not the majority and as I mentioned before, no one is forcing you to buy them. So why are you complaining?
you only used cheats if
- you were too much of a pussy to beat the game normally
- you want to have fun
Both are solid reasons to throw a lincoln at Capcom, imo.
But why take the option away to earn them in addition to paying for the cheats? Why make it so that the only way you can get these cheats is to pay for them? This isn’t like a new mission or map or anything along the lines of that. Something that should be a part of the game is taken away and thrown out as petty DLC. Yes, it is all about cash but ffs, at least let it be achievable in game.
Gamers these days want instant gratification. They get that through DLC’s that contain buffs/OP Weapons/Cheats…so on and so forth. Why take the time to unlock things if you can just buy them? All EA and Capcom has done is take that mentality to the next step. You can’t blame companies for capitalizing on their customer bases laziness. Blame the people who purchase this shit and make it okay.
It’s a sad day when gamers will complain over something optional that costs $5.
Stuart is right. The majority of gamers just want everything handed to them, so companies just release cheats and shit as DLC.
Pay for cheats? why bother? Games are so easy now a days that some of them even come Pre-Owned.
