i’m actually a much bigger fan of the TEs now, rather than Horis. i find the way i play (i smash the shit out of the buttons) is better suited for TEs. on horis, random buttons go off if you hit it too hard.
yeah i totally agree, about the random buttons comin up, but this is different… its a real arcade bezel on your lap 
i find it more funny than practical to use. It requires you to play it on a table too, which is kinda inconvenient at tournies. But i like to collect so we’ll see; so far me and ralph are the only two interested in buyin it. If people want, give us your name and the money to order it so we can save on shipping all together.

also yes TE sticks are better because they can take more of a beating and I tend to smack buttons when I get into a match.

Tourney is single elim and has no prize, and the con is sold out. Doesn’t sound like it’s going to be a stellar event.
both Pax and AnimeBoston seem to have pretty expensive ticket fees if your only going for the tourney but that?s how all cons are I suppose

ok i talk to wall and wiilee about having a ranking system for these wallcade gatherings. I think this will work great because not only will it give players the ambition to get better but also make every match you play count. It will be just like the 3s danisen ranking system. Start out at first dan and end at 10th dan. After 10th you will get special rankings…
here are the rules
only one character…you can not switch unless you start over with a new character from rank dan
Newcomers start off at 1st Dan.
Players generally fight against others of either the same rank or one rank above/below you in order to go up a rank.
One match won = +1 point, one match lost = -1 point. +3 points moves you up one rank, -2 points moves you down one rank.
The ranks are 1st to 10th Dan. Past 10th Dan are special ranks such as “Bossu”
Players past 10th Dan can only fight against others of the same rank. +5 points moves you up one rank, -3 points moves you down one rank.
Ranked players can play in other arcades with their rankings as is.
This will start when SSF4 hits. Everyone should try to get to 10th dan or u will forever be a dan one…like dan and willson.
