SRK User OhNoezz, alt for better known user Hi5ive, just tried to scam me, and I’d bet money I’m not the only one. User sswizzbbeatss is most likely a difference person, but is close knit enough with Hi5ive to warrant suspicion.

1-3 and myself at #9 all have put up ‘WTB’ posts in the past week; I got tired of waiting 60 seconds between searches, but I’d bet almost every single one of those have recently put up a WTB thread, and gotten a PM asking for gift payment to that same paypal. OhNoezz also PM’ed user winchester about a WTB thread he put up recently.
Why gift? You can’t dispute it with paypal. The spiel about bank problems pulling the money out? Complete bullshit. Banks don’t know crap about the money Paypal deposits. The idea that a bank would take money received as a gift paypal instead of money sent as a ‘for goods’ paypal is ridiculous.
This guy is trying to scam me, and I’m certain he either has tried or has successfully scammed others.
Listen, I’d love to be wrong. I’d love to see OhNoezz post up a few pictures of his massive collection of PS-14-K’s with a nice little handwritten ‘Fuck you Toodles’ card. Totally would, would apologize profusely, edit this post, do everything I could to make amends, and would love to do business buying an absolute crap ton of them. But everything I see and feel says this is a scam, and the longer I wait to post this, the bigger the chance someone else will fall for it.
Edit: #4, #5, #7 and #10 all put up WTB threads. #6, rtdzign, replied to a thread about wanting to buy one of my boards. The ONLY name on the previous ten visitors to his profile that hasn’t recently put up a thread or posting he wanted to buy something is ‘The-priest’, probably about his emerald TE; I’m guessing offering to sell The-priest a VLX at a rediculous price.
I am 100% certain guy is, has, and continues to try and scam. He and his IP need gone.

It would be strange if they were scammers toodles. I have met both Sswizz and Hi5ive in person either for sales or trade and never had problem with them at all. I think Ohnoezz couldnt be Hi5ive or could dont know since never meet OhNoezz in person.
I’m am fully open to admitting I’m wrong if proven wrong. I’d love to see those names I listed post up that they paid and received what they were promised. I’d love to see a photo of this cache of unused K snap ins.

Its a ID verification service called TrustWho and cost about 10-15 dollars to obtain the service.
They verify by geographical location, Id scan, bill statements all that jive.
He tried to make me pay as a gift. It sucks for people who actually got scammed. Ohnoezz is such a jerk

It was serendipitous of him to happen to offer me his XBox and a copy of SSFIV so quickly after I posted on the Trading Outlet. What you do is entirely up to you. I can’t ignore the fact you’re friends with someone who is scamming users, but I did make it clear that you were a different person. If you care about your reputation, then work on improving it. Other folks may be worried about dealing with you because of your friend, and I can’t blame them.
If I were in your spot, and serious about these golf balltops, I’d be making a big post acknowledging the problem with Hi5ive, and saying that his actions were not known by you, and and not condoned by you, and admitting that you can understand how folks might be worried about dealing with you because of his actions. I’d make a concession that said anyone with a good SRK reputation who didn’t want to pay for their balltop up front would receive a paypal invoice for the total and their balltop shipped out to them first, to be paid for when received. If your customer was an unknown with no rep, you could explain the situation about how you didn’t feel comfortable doing that, and ask them to wait until your seriousness and integrity has been proven.
If you care about your rep, then you have to work on it. After a blemish like this, it’s going to be an uphill fight for a little bit. With work, it can happen, and this problem won’t be associated with you any longer.
Thank for you warning me about Ohnoezz Toodles. I sent $6 paypal to him for 3 Semitsu buttons and he has not responded back. I’m going to go ahead and file the chargeback then.
Yeah that’s the same paypal address also. When I filed a dispute, it said the user was unable to respond back and immediately went into the claims mode.

After a few confirmation pm’s ,I paypal’d the guy $125 for the ps3 (8/9.2010).
The guy sold the ps3 local AFTER i paid him, and he’s yet to refund my money (over a month later).
Money was sent gift, so i can?t file a dispute.
I’ve asked the mods to ban “Esjihn”.
