so i go up to a teller and say that? i don’t see how the bank has any reason to care since it leaves their hands into a thrid party then onto a fourth party, but i’m willing to give it a shot. not trying to derail the thread but i have a feeling this gift option is getting a lot of us screwed.
It’s worth a shot, if you carefully explain your situation to your bank they should be more than willing to help you with some alternatives. I got an overdraft fee for an item I never even heard of and I went to my bank and explained my story, they took off the charges. Not saying my situation is the same as yours, but it was something I figured would work out and it did.
So,
Its offically a scam. User ALOK331 scammed me for $200. Is there another place I should post this, or is this the correct place? Also, should I post up the info I have on this scammer or a link to the forum where this occured?

i went to the bank yesterday and talked to my bank about my ps3 incident on srk. this guy sold me a broken ps3 and that’s what i told the bank. i printed out the paypal records and the bank said they’d take care of it and within 3 days i got my 200 dollars back in my account. your experience might vary but i’m willing to say that most of the time the bank will side with you if you have good reason.

To sum it up if you dont wanna read the whole thread:
-Purchased a SF3: Giant Attack board
-Seller agreed to ship it that Fri/Sat… never got a dc #
-I texted the seller…told me he was busy and it would go out the following weekend and that a dc# would be sent.
-No word from him for the following week either.
-I texted, called, emailed, pm’d since then…not contact has been made.
-Reported as a scammer on NG.com. Since then people have called him and he has someone else answer the phone, take a message, and doesnt respond.
-It was also discovered that the address he gave me was that of a taxi cab company in his area.
Avoid dealing with this seller at all costs. He has ties to another member on here named totoroslayer, as they have logged on to NG.com using the same IP.
If for some reason anyone knows him and can have him fix this shit, it would be greatly appreciated.

i purchased almost 100 dollars worth of ps2 games from a certain srk member and it’s been 16 days since i’ve paid and i have not received anything or tracking. i pmed him and told him he has 24 hours to let me know what’s going on. i’ll update all the info if it goes south. srk, we da best.

just wanted to give a heads up. it’s been 18 days since i’ve purchased almost 100 dollars worth of stuff from ‘Bucklemyshoe’. He hasn’t replied to any pms and never gave me shipping updates which i know at this point he never shipped. will be disputing via paypal and bank today.

Its been over a month now since I ordered a Custom Top(battop/balltop Hybrid). He originally said it would take a week…and now yeah im still waiting. Id like to give him more time cause he said he had personal issues going but Its not fair as a customer to wait for this long for anything. You provide services, you should abide by them as much as possible.
So Ive sent him a few emails and im waiting on him to reply. This has been the 2nd time that ive bought something from SRK Trade and the 2nd time that im getting screwed over again. This is fucking ridiculous and hope you guys can help me get my product sooner…

You only have 45 days to file with paypal, if you don’t hear from him in the next day or two, do it before you wait too long.

I’m also having a bit of difficulty getting in touch with Kaytrims Customs. I ordered a $70 custom case from him and still have yet to receive it. I told him that there was no rush, but it’s been over a month now and I requested it to be here before Mid-november (I ordered this in early October, so I thought I was being pretty generous). I’ve emailed him twice within the past week with no response… I really hope this doesn’t screw me over. I have all of the other parts needed to make the stick aside from the case…

Ohh he took business, from me, quily and i believe he was making some things for Butteroj as well. Still no word from him…I think he pulled a Lazeeya on us. Im going to submit my claim to paypal tomorrow before it gets too late.
My last email he showed me pictures of my product and said it only needed a few more coats added to the finish…i mean its been over 2 weeks since those pics. Like I said one week deal has turned into over a month now. He should at least update us if he is having issues. Can any of his friends in Iowa get ahold of him perhaps?
