Jess - Yeah, we’ll talk more about 'Cuse at EGS. There really isn’t a point to host since we’ve got Paul and Abes. But we can keep your place as backup if that’s cool.
Dave - Yeah, I’m not too fond of the Price. But if you guys are willing to make the sacrifice then I guess I’m in. sigh. We’ll be there around 8ish as well.

GGs to everyone who played super tonight. I’m super (pardon the pun) pleased with the freshman who showed up and knew how to play. Tonight was very competitive and lots of fun, i’m glad that I showed up and look forward to EGS more… Freshmen FTW (and all the OGs of course :P).

Oscar - Nice playing with you again man! was some good shit haha. Definitely gonna get WAY better in SF3. You’re way better than you stated! haha hustled us haha. We’re definitely going to revive the scene so yeah we’re gonna bring the laptop of 3rd Strike until 3rd Strike Online hits DLC.
Dave - You should ask Wong, he’s got all the tips down and the BnB of 3rd strike. He’ll be willing to teach you his vast knowledge of l33t.

Haha, that’s all right. Chun-Li plays so differently in 3S. To me, she seems to play turtle and keep everyone at bay by her pokes and normals. That, and cmk into super II. So painful
Super? Maybe if I brought my PS3 here to RIT I would. That, and I need a TV. But me and my room mate might be getting that soon. But I’m not too fond of IV in general, so I don’t have a real drive to get better at it, except for that it’s “What’s in” and “what’s current”
I can somewhat teach 3rd Strike, but I’m just going by experience and the hours upon hours of match vids I watched. I know most of every character’s BnBs (except 12, Elena, and probably Necro). I myself learned the complete basics with Ken. But even then I have tons to learn still.
Hey man, I didn’t know how well you played SF3. I assumed “really good”, but then Wong said he hasn’t played 3S since SF4 came out, haha. I didn’t want to flaunt and then get totally destroyed. I blame my Alex shenanigans. Tick air lk and whiff air mk into command throw got a bunch of people.
Also, yes please bring the laptop. I wish it had better speakers, because the announcer/music are so good (or better than IV). I would never get sick of N-N-N-N-NOW, FIGHT A NEW RIVAL! And Jazzy NYC '99. If only I could bring my speakers, which has a decent bass…
Oscar - Haha yeah. Wong and the other 3S veterans were really good. Our 3S scene was pretty big. That’s why we’re planning on bringing it back because we need good fighting games to play hehe. Yeah I have speakers I can bring next time, I have a pair that I bought on accident (long story).
Jess - Sorry to hear that but you may not be disappointed. We may not be venturing off into the distance.
Dave - Still iffy because Gary can’t make it either. I don’t know if Paul or Abe may want to go. I still need to talk to Wong and I’m coming down with a small fever so yeah, there’s a 50/50 chance if us maybe going.
if we don’t go, it actually gives me the time to make plans for the upcoming ranbat. Hopefully we can get some people for that.
Hopefully some of you guys can make it out to Cuse…seems like everyone is backing out of this thing at the last minute I don’t think anyone from Albany is coming anymore…Buffalo is rolling up 6-7 people but not the numbers we had hoped for. Anyway, hope to see you guys there to cheer you on vs nyc.
Everyone who wants to know about the 'Cuse Tournament - Yeah, I talked to Wong today and it looks like our numbers kind of made it impossible to go. Came to the conclusion that we won’t be going to the 'Cuse tournament. Sorry everyone. Next time. We thought about it and bringing 3-4 people might not just cut it if the tournament is gonna be pretty big. I hope you all understand
We’ll probably (Most likely) be doing casuals tommorrow. This gives me time to make up the Ranbat Schedule for Rochester. So yeah, sorry about the tournament, I guess last minute really started to count this time.
Shame about the tourney. Let’s discuss our meet-ups plans. Has Paul/Abe’s given the okay to meet at their place every week? If not, perhaps I should come up with a calendar and can bring some food to wherever. Any desire for mid-week gatherings besides/on-top-of EGS?
Gary - Yeah I still need the “O.K” from Paul if he’s cool with having us at his place every week. We might need an alternative plan if he’s not. I know last week he was pretty busy. A calender would be nice actually but maybe when we have more than one spot to play. Then we can setup schedules at certain places or a backup plan for another place. I don’t know about EGS though; I’ll think more on it when more suggestions come through
im down for midweek gathers on thursday night (no class friday), WED at EGS i probably wont be attending much, the new season of The Ultimate Fighter is starting up. I might start recording it though. saturday’s at paul/abe’s would be nice on a weekly basis (we can also try millennium?). i can see if i can host some, we’d just need everyone to bring setups (tv, system, stick), and i have to call the leasing office ahead of time to rent the lounge for the saturday night.

Edit: Speaking of Season’s Beating, because we didn’t do syracuse are you guys more inclined to do SB? crosses fingers I know you guys haven’t given a thumbs up or down yet so let me know a.s.a.p. so I can buy my train ticket or not. I’m for sure not missing this for anything. Its about a 6 hour drive and if you guys want to do it we would have to get a hotel soon due to the fact it’s also OSU parents weekend and the hotel rooms are filling fast.
