I agree, individually everyone has improved dramatically (from what I’ve seen), and it’s really exciting to think about how much better we’ll be by the end of this year. I also agree about Syracuse, those are cool guys and they are doing a good thing. There’s also a good level of competition that isn’t overwhelming and perfect for us.

Ahh, I was really hoping we could have at LEAST a meetup the weekend before school starts, and hopefully EGS the first week of school. The 'cuse tourney is the weekend of the FIRST week of school so we def need to get our practice in. I certainly do. In fact, I plan on moving into my apartment Aug 31st or Sept 1st so if anyone’s down for playing during that week LMK.
Kay I can bring my xbox and stuff, so hopefully they’ll still have the old crts or we’ll have to play with a little bit of lag.
I’m really pumped too! I took a look at the Rochester Fight Blog again last night and I realized how much I missed being there! (though I will most definitely miss my cleveland group too ) I’m down for the Ranbats whenever. I’ve got nothing big planned and my schedule should be pretty easy this quarter. BlazBlue: CS Top 4 to 8 depending on # of entrance

which means if any of us wanna do the team tournament, we’re assed, and if any of us make it deep into Super or any other game, also assed. I’d rather just split a hotel room with you guys and get our money’s and tourney’s worth.
I have a VGA cable, but it’s deeply embedded in my TV console, so I’ll look for another one on the cheap next time. Just be sure that the TV has the audio input to go along with VGA.
I would expect an Ohio tourney to be bigger and cleaner! Space is cheap and it’s likely run by Suburbanites. As you draw in more poor ECers, that’s when stuff goes missing.
If anyone wants 1-1 help this year fixing up their game and I can point some things out, feel free to come to me for sessions. Main caveat is my schedule but I can always carve out some time if you can come to my place.
When do classes start for you guys again? We could do a reunion meet-up sometime every one gets back if that’s ok. I did want you guys to take a little breather until we meet up again. Meet-up is top priority in my book, THEN we can talk about possible ranbats and etc.

xdmds - Hey nice to meet you man. We usually have casuals every week here in Rochester but, since RIT hasn’t started up yet; we’ve been doing private sessions with the original crew here in Rochester. You should come by EGS when it starts back up again at RIT! we’d love to see new faces.

Everyone else: I’ve learned Rufus, a better ryu, akuma, ibuki, a better seth, and most recently im trying out viper (just for fun.) I plan to stick with cammy and Ryu for competition. I’ve gotta put rufus through the ropes to ever use him over cammy. My cammy got wayyyyyyyyyyy too much better :o
I will be back this Friday with mah lil sis. Not sure if you guys are planning to meet up Friday at all or not.
David- I picked up Cammy because she’s an interesting character and I still play Sagat because I like playing with Sagat. He’s still fun for me. I just need a good alt for my bad matchups with Sagat. Bison bores me and has a stupid face.
