just a few things, focus dash is a pretty good way to get in on sim. EX spire is a good tool once you get to midrange. If you get a chance to 360 I recommend doing HP 360 vs sim because he’s gonna teleport on wakeup so you may as well maximize damage while you can get it. Don’t use dive except on reaction to fireballs, sim can punish it with like anything he wants. just walk forward all day. Also don’t DP on wakeup unless it’s EX and even then you probably shouldn’t do it.
I was watching Hungbee play and it seems like Hawk is best when he’s really defensive. You probably could have taken that first round by just being lame as hell.
Also, I def want to get some more play in before going to SB. I want to refine my Honda into a shining beacon of turtlish retardation.

Thanks for the tips. T-Hawk is pretty fun, in a “we’re in New Jersey so we may as well enjoy it” kind of way. I just play him like Blanka, whiffing every move for throws. It’s much more satisfying now that I can shout “MEXICAN TYPHOON!” on a successful feint though.
