Lag doesn’t change the timing of your links, it changes the timing on punishes and reactions. As long as you hit the buttons at the same time and the move hits, your links will still work inside a combo. It’s the 1 or 2 frame punishes (damn you chun super!) that get messed up.
Moral: when on projectors, play Blanka.
it messes up links that rely on visual or audio cues, not just button timing. Delayed links like stuff out of ryu F+HP or chun’s lightning legs are really affected by lag, but timing based links like ryu cr.lp, cr.HP or chun cr.lp, s.HP are mostly unaffected yeah.

I’m thinking some time we should just go into various buildings, hook up a system and see if it’s playable. If not we might just have to use TVs or figure something out

I haven’t been to a session since last semester but I’ve been practicing and can hopefully keep up a little better next time :] I can also bring my 360 if another setup is needed.
Hey guys. I just found out about you guys like, just now. I play all kind of 2D fighting games though I’m pretty good at Blazblue (Tager) and probably Guilty Gear (Robo-Ky).
I also play Melty Blood, SSFIV, and some other games that I can’t think on the top of my head though I will almost always suck at them. FYI, I only have a ps3.

there are two ps3s so for a third setup we could use a xbox or whatever. depends if there will be a third setup though.
