No, not at all. They didn’t use his VA from the 90’s cartoon, not even when they changed the voices in the later seasons. He was one of the few characters (like Colossus and Venom) who had brand new VA’s

You guys realize that he is a WIP. Magneto is not even finished, his lines could be changed over time. They did that with Deadpool and Captain America. In the beguinning Cap sounded really bad but now he sounds a bit better and it’s the same actor. Even though these are english voices on a japanese game they have a professional voice coach with them to help capture the essense of the character Capcom and Marvel wants. The game is still months away anything can change from now.
So can we get off the Magneto topic there are other characters to talk about.

MODOK’s voice actor is nice. Would have been awesome if they got the guy who voiced him in SHS to do it. Apparently it’s the same person who voices Sponge Bob lol.
I find this voice more fitting for this look, though his SHS voice would make trolling with him even better.

It could actually be Tom Kenny reprising his role as MODOK from SHS, actually. The MODOK in MvC3 kinda sounds like Tom Kenny, in kind of a more evil/nerdier version of his Ironman voice from SHS (who he also voiced).

not really, everyone else sounds fine. mags is the only problem VA-wise.

Yeah he did MODOK, Ironman, and Cap in SHS and Sponge Bob for the past 11 years. Now if only we can get MODOK doing the Sponge Bob laugh we’ll have the ultimate troll.

its not that its different from mvc2. snarling magneto isnt really magneto, no matter how badass it sounds…but goofy mags doesnt sound menacing whatsoever. he sounds like a hero in the one trailer weve gotten from him. hopefully theyre working with the VA to put summadat evil in his voice
