I get what deadds ia saying but, the fact is that even if he sounds more stupid to you, he’s sounds more like he should based on his comic book characters. I love COTA and mvc2 mags voice. And I’d prefer it over the mvc3 voice. But the mvc3 voice is MUCH more how he should sound, I mean he’s a bad guy and magneto of the previous games sounds more bad guyish instead of passive aggressive…but if everyone thought like you we could throw cobra commanders voice on Juggernaut and call it a day because he’s a bad guy or apoc’s voice on sabertooth.
Just because they are a bad guy doesn’t mean they should sound corrupted 100% time. One of the biggest charms about magneto was the fact that he was “charismatic” and had a “sensible” reason to his objectives.
Although his Proto-Urien voice was cool back then (Whenever I hear “Playtime has ended” I always think of “You died!”), his new voice has grown on me somewhat. Listening to him say “Allow me to share my dreams for this world” in his intro is exactly how he should sound. But then in battle, “EM DISRUPTOR!” “MAGNETIC TEMPEST!”… it’s pretty eh for me. But in the long run this is definitely a better voice for Mags.
He’s a German man that lived in Israel. His voice being British/German is highly likely. Now please stop complaining about his voice. You’re becoming the IHS of this thread.
Damn B IHS is famous round these parts too?? Lets talk about something else… mags has been the topic of discussion for like a week. From what i’ve seen it seems like every character addresses every other character by name for assists and tags. (right?) I’m wondering what all of amaterasu’s…barks? are going to be like when tagging haha. I wonder if she takes more of a liking towards other characters or not. Just thinkin out loud
dont sweat it, dude, i feel the same way. it’s just not worth going in circles about it, which is why i gave up on it. im a huge comic fan but i still loved pre-MvC3 mags. i dont like him sounding like this, but hey, i thought movie magneto was the stupidest thing ive ever seen.
gameplay wise mags still looks rushdown crazy which i like. aside from gameplay i personally feel new mags looks lame. voice is crap, and he just looks silly. hopefully they fix the graphics and add some tone to my boy, because he looks flat right now. still hyped as fuck to play him
