You can JD and blow through with a super…Sad thing is that CPU Dan JD’ed the 1st hit of my Sho x N and Dan uppered me to a finest KO. I also did some more experimenting but it seems the shoto’s can uppercut out cleanly 60/40 after a JD on the first Sho and 50/50 on the RH’s assuming they start the CC like so.

Its more of an experience thing cause I’m sure you found out by now that SRK strategies sections sucks nuts…its like none of the good players want to post anything remotely useful so everyone who wants to learn CvS2 basically learns on their own.
I can show you what guard break strings I like using with my chars next time you’re in town.
