oh man yeah, this game REALLY SCREAMS for a replay feature. if i could go back and analyze half the shit ETPharaoh was hitting on me i’d probably steal all of it, lol. but just in general to analyse strats, see what works and what doesn’t, it’d be such a cool thing to implement, and you figure it wouldn’t be that difficult - hell if DOA4 can do it, why not VF5, Sega?

Probably cuz they’re lazy and not really thinking about what the gamers would want. I wouldn’t imagine it would be that difficult to implement either but I guess on top of a deadline for releasing the game they were just more focused on having a decent net code. Can’t really give them crap if people are saying that connetions are pretty decent. I remember being all hype for # Reload on Xbox just to be dissapointed by every game being unplayable. Not that even 1 frame of delay completely ruins the game but when every game has at least 3 or 4 frames delay it’s just stupid at that point.
I say as long as the online play is decent majority of the time and there’s no game breaking glitches or discrepancies compared to the arcade version of the game…it’s good. I can’t see myself playing this online a ton any ways. I just wanna be able to pick up some strats here and there but, I have enough people to play with offline and have to lug the 360 downstairs any ways to play online.

You can now rematch people in player matches (instead of just creating a private match) thanks to the new VF5 online system patch available today.

Good games to anyone I ran into on Live the past couple days in Player Matches. Only ones I recognized was gl0ry (who thoroughly kicked my ass with his Jacky, but was still damn fun) and Knapstar, whom I just finished playing with and had a fun set of Pai vs. Pai matches. Didn’t even know you posted here till I saw your gametag while reading the thread.

I rarely ever play fun pai vs pai matches and I really enjoyed our battle big time I will have to play you again later on it should be interesting to see what happens next time.

Yeah man. That was a really fun Pai vs. Pai set. I would have stayed longer, but it passed 1:30am already and I figured I should force myself to stop. I think you’d probably overtake me next time as I started getting pretty predictable probably after all those games. :wgrin:
Also, what the heck were you saying? I usually don’t wear a headset unless I know the person on the other end because I have one of those NFL Coach ones and they get pretty uncomfortable after awhile. All I heard through the TV was something about “competitive” which cracked me up.
If anyone sees me online and wants to play VF, just shoot me up with an invite and I’ll join unless I’m already playing a set with someone and not random people in player matches. If I’m on COD4 or Halo 3, that’s most likely not me, but my brother or the kids playing on the 360.

I hear a few things too when I don’t where the headset but I don’t really recall what I said back then I was having a ton of fun playing you and that is all I remember but you aren’t that bad at all.

That was actually my buddy playing. I only play akira, he is the goh player. He plays on pad for some reason lol… Guess he doesnt want to get used to the stick till he gets his own.
I was too lazy to get the stick out so I was playing on pad too… I guess I only bring out the stick when Bacardi or someone else I know invites me to play…
Just got the game for a few days, a newbie on VF. And getting owned online, my Pai doesn’t stand a chance. I play with pad now, still waiting for my stick to be made…
