GG’s to anyone I played. I’m not sure if my Kage is scrubby or not. Please criticize or bash if you have any decent input. I tend to use his pkg stance a lot. I’m usually on midnight to early morning, sometimes its tough to find good players at that time. I almost gave up on this game awhile ago but I was on a nice winning streak recently that re-ignited my interest. I just can’t seem to incorporate solid side stepping into my game, any tips?

Think I had a ranked match with F Man last night. Remembered you using the low sweep properly, something a lot of Laus online don’t do haha. Good match man. Maybe we’ll get more later on.

Been a bit, but good games to any and all peeps I’ve played since my last post. Kage players have really been burning my biscuits, though, what with the 10ft toss followed by a juggle out of the ring from halfway point.

Just got a 360 and this game…along with DOA4, Orange Box and Senko no Ronde (War Tech). Gonna start with Lau probably since he’s always been the go to guy when you’re not good at the game. PPPK!!! Wanna get solid with a bunch of characters though. Especially Steven Seagal’s sister (Owwie). I imagine there’s a lot of Kage and Lei Fei scubs online.
Oh and a couple random questions. Can you put a custom soundtrack in this game or any of the games I listed? Does Microsoft still tell you on the back of the box if you can put your own music in the game? Didn’t see that on the boxes of any of the games.
Lastly…if I migrate my XBL account over to the 360…will I still be able to play on my regular Xbox?

oh ya wanted to say gg. ive been playing cod4 a lot more lately so ive become kinda rusty (i think i remember throwing out df+p+k out randomly). that overhead jacky has is beastly.
i think ive been seeing some japanese players online too.
I am new to play VF5 online and I play either Aoi or Pai, I lose most of my games but I see them all as a learning experience and eventually I will find a way win most of my games, I see all of them as good games regardless and look to learn from every game I play win or lose.

It’s cool. That’s usually the way to go. If you need some help on Aoi, I could give you a few tips from my experiences so far. There are also some good Pai users who could help to though I can’t remember the names off the top of my head. Since my wireless and location are shaky I can’t always get a good set of throwdowns. But if you see me around look me up.
special good games to the new influx of very strong Japanese players i’ve been fortunate enough to challenge. it’s really nice to be able to play you guys to see a wider variety of playstyles as opposed to trying to develop skill in a vacuum, and I really feel like my Lion is a lot better because of it.

I think the storm came for me yesterday morning. Saying that though, it’s good to come across new styles…forces me to come up with something new while adapting. And when I can translate some of the replies I’ve gotten I’ll be VERY happy. Saying that though, it looks like my wireless has given me the middle finger once again.

I’m thinking people are just unfamiliar with how he plays and its throwing them off to my advantage. I confess to hating Jeffrys(that fucking evade) and Sarahs though.
I good idea of playing the game and know how to play the game better than many of the people I play against. The thing that kills me the most is my lack of experience against people of my level or higher. There are a few thing I can do to better by game and I will use them more over time but my lack of experience is actually what is killing me more than anything else.
some decent experiences tonight, and some really terrible ones, but i gained a bit of a new insight on what i need to strengthen with my Lion, okizeme, string pressure, etc.

4649: Fair enough. Last night I was happy to be able to use my friend’s Time Warner connection so I didn’t have to worry about getting dropped, on the other hand it took me quite a few losses before I finally got off the blocks. Most likely if you play me again it’ll be on wireless so I can’t make any promises. I’ll give props right now to the VF Japan players since about 95% of the matches I’ve been in were anything but boring.
I’ve had good, bad, and some matches I’d sooner forget. Damn, I wish I could save some replays…not to rub it in but because I’ve had some really good matches I’d like to remember, and some matches I lost that I’d like to kinda dwell upon so I can learn. I guess the fact that I have a winning record means that I’m not a total scrub but still…
Well, looking forward to throwing down some more.
