online play will not affect japan at all. theyve had more games go online on console than we have and it hasnt hurt them one bit. they still rather go to arcades. online doesnt hurt them one bit
Yeah, I guess you’re right in that aspect. However, it’s still not coming out in Japan at this time. Some people in the thread have said it has and I just wanted to clarify it isn’t.
well for one, they dont need online, cuz of arcades. second, they got it on ps3, 3rd, no one has a 360 in japan =)

October release date, maybe they are taking their time so the online play will be just right :tup:
Armored Core 4 is online (has a lot of Japanese players compared to X360’s American players, both userbase has different style of play and look too) and Sonic has patches for new levels and challenges.
Man I gotta say MS must be pushing some fierce ass muscle on some of these devs. “We’ll never do online play with vf’!” Gotta give them props on not only raping the exclusives but getting the non exclusives better in some cases.
Not only is MS dropping bucketloads of cash, they send network people to code for online for Sega. Essentially handing over free stuff just to get something better on their console. It’s probably the sole reason why 360 got online and PS3 doesn’t. It’s part of MS’s initiative in having online for as much of their games as possible. If Sony OTOH made a donation + a little help like MS, they would have gotten online too. Just goes to show you how shady the game business is. It’s not even about the consumer anymore.
Wait a min, so it’s not about the consumer cause the game has online(which is what everyone wanted)?

If MS is sending people over to code them up some online play, then I hope they don’t do what they did with Guilty Gear XX #reload, and send one dude for one day, to give us the most laggiest of the online fighters for Live.
