This is the channel for VF5 Final Showdown at NWM4. It starts at 2pm June 2nd and goes ALL DAY because it has itās own station.
Top 4 is going to be streamed on Sunday, not sure what time yet.
Itās going to be a 64-man bracket.

So, I had the luck to play VF5:FS at UFGT8, and I can say that I loved the game!! So much that I felt kind of sad when, on the VF5 finals when keits asked āwhy should people buy this gameā all the guys only said ābecause this is awesomeāā¦ there where a lot more of things that they could say like:
Great variety of characters based on real fight styles.
Amazing training options with incredile game mechanics where everything matters(frame advantage/disadvantages, direction of a attack, position, etc)
Easy to catch, hard to master!! (you will not find a guy that can say āim god with 5 charactersāā¦ you will pick that fighter that suits you and will need to be devoted to it)
And yes, awesome game, for only 15 dlls!!! (Lots of DLC to pimp the character you love.)
So, I will definitely buy this game and try to introduce my friends to it. Im sure that if the community gives it a chance it can generate all the hype that a capcom game generates (not counting SFxT XD)

So mad I couldnāt make it at the last second to NWM. The Tourney was the thign I was anticipating the most.

DLC Strategy here is going to work well for this game UNLIKE a certain OTHER GAME.
15 bucks and alot of those people will buy some DLC with it.
I probably will myself. Good move Sega for once. Alot of people are going to buy it and check it out.
I think the benefit of a low price point and being an XBLA/PSN game outweighs those of a disc release atm.
Plus Skullgirls more strengthen a dlc release. Skullgirls is selling better than expected I might buy it myself with VF5: FS.
Iām looking forward to jumping back into Virtua Fighter after being absent since 3. I was a Sarah player as a kid (because I was a perv even back then), but I think Iāll lean towards Wolf this time around due to my tendency to play as big guys as of late (Big Show, Raiden, Nemesis, Astaroth, Sagat)
Yeah, Iām really hyped for this. I havenāt played since Virtua Fighter 2 (Sega Genesis port, xD), and I really like what Iām seeing from FS. Iām not that good when it comes to 3D fighting games, but Iām definitely down to learn this game. Only a few more daysā¦
Any word on when the NWM stream is going to be up? It ran for about two minutes and then died. That was two hours ago. Last I heard they were having power problems, but there havenāt been any updates for a while now.

Messing with VF5 PS3 to warm up. What is with VF5ās combos? I can hit Tekken and GG combos no problem but Iām dropping simple things like: [4][K][+][G] ā [6_][P] ā [6_][K][G] ā [3][K][+][G] for Jacky.
VF has always been the coolest fighting game I never really learned how to play correctly. I was messing around with Aoi and Lei-Fei (fucking stances) when VF4 came to PS2. Thinking about trying Sarah in FS.
