So is there a reason why this isn’t on the front page? -_-
Maybe someone should submit it?
10k items as DLC? Wow, I guess Sega gotta make that money somehow.
To who?
I want you to think about this for a minute.
For arcade, you had to pay to play until you lost. Think about how much more that cost to get items and to play than it’ll be for just buying the game and subsequent DLC.
Thanks for the video, I’m scouring the internet for quality Brad matches.

should be stuff there. reno’s channel.
WTF is The Crow doing in VF?
I have no problem with an expanded set of cosmetic items being released as DLC because it’s probably going to be a $15-20 game with better content than the VF5:O release on 360. It may actually pave the way for future version updates to roll out simultaneously in console and arcade.
That’s a pretty dumb sounding argument with arcades being dead and all, but that’s assuming I would lose, what if I hypothetically wouldn’t? I’d like to think that putting money into arcade machines is a possible moneyhole, having to buy DLC is a certain one. Not that I’m really complaining unless the custom items that will ship with the game are very lacking.
Still 10k items as DLC sound pretty unprecedented.
Stop complaining. Be thankful they don’t pull a Capcom and sell you game altering content like characters (and gems… lol)
If they are going to sell cosmetics to justify porting this game then so be it. We should be pleased that we are finally able to play a modern VF.
I like this one

Irrelevant. A years worth of playing at an arcade would cost more.
KoF XIII DLC characters are awesome
That new Brad Burns outfit. I’ll take 50.
With this, eventually getting KOFXIII and SCV, and SFxT and Skullgirls on the way, looks like I’ll be working overtime for money.
yomipower Mr. X is talking about the Japanese arcades where VF5FS is an exclusive release. VF5FS is 100 yen a play, which is pretty close to a dollar most of the time. He’s trying to explain Sega’s perspective on charging for DLC. We also know nothing of the details of the DLC content and yet you’re calling it ‘unprecedented’. Are you trying to be inflammatory or are you just that dim?
Right you are about that, though.
And most of the time I really am just that dim. But as I’ve said, I’ve no problem with it as long as the game ships with a good amount of customization items, because customization is why I play these games.
It was my secret dream as a kid to dress up dolls in nice clothes and play with them.
And the tourneys keep going in Japan

That was fuckin’ sick. Every evade in the last round was so tight, play was excellent by both players. Thank you. [4]
I love the dnb soundtrack to this game. And upon a second review that Brad plays completely differently from how I play Brad, lol. I wonder how much he was playing to the match up. How much does one play differently from opponent to opponent in VF5? I have only ever trained with a couple of people so I have no experience playing against many characters, though I’ve seen plenty of matches. I feel like I understand the basics of the game.
