But I gotta give the guy a little credit by saying that some of VF’s comboes do look hella damaging, but not that much more than in Tekken 6. What’s the average you can pull off a juggle in VF? In tekken it’s about 70-72 (all characters have 180 health, +10% if you play in Korea, no stamina tiers), meaning most characters can manage this much from a standard launcher, but of course there are exceptions, like Jack, who’s standard combo from df+2 does 68 without walls. Also, how much life do characters have in FS? I think the agreed-on value was 160 in vanilla, but I can’t remember.

Max life in Vanilla/R VF5 was 200 pts. Average BnBs were about 60-65 ish [some (MUCH) more, some less, depends on the character] without a wall. Walls can potentially add about 20-30 extra points of damage. Note that this kinda varies since there are different weight classes for characters that affect which combos work.

In FS, life is 220 now, but since R, the damage characters can do as far as juggles (and seemingly everything, really) went up in general.

You can usually take off anywhere from 20 - 35% in a simple combo, going up to about 50% or 60% if you score a wall combo.

Personally I don’t understand why people make such a big deal about these combos in VF5FS, because the series in general has always had some crazy damage combos.

I personally have nothing against the juggle damage in VF since I’m coming from Tekken which has similar damage juggles with certain characters + walls. Scrubs complain about the damage because they don’t know how to do the big damage juggles or how to avoid getting launched all the time into them, basic loser mentality.

Or get Giant Swung by Wolf. If it didn’t ring out, it was still 50% back in the day.

Nope he’s a ginger. I think wait make wolf great is the fear of being thrown which make you duck more and sets up some pretty good launchers.

Yeah but that can be broken(low throw is still a great choice). I’m just going with the free damage.
