combo, which makes it practically irrelevant.

Go to that guy’s youtube page and look at his other vids. You’ll find plenty more near 100% combos that are hardly “super situational”. All that requires is getting hit near a wall. One hit near wall = game over. If combos like these were possible in Tekken 6 or Soul Calibur 4, everyone would be screaming BROKEN! But of course, VF series always gets the pass no matter how objectively broken it is.

This is a combo that requires:
- You being at the opponent’s side
- You hitting with a delayed string that can be countered with a low punch with zero consequence
- Them being stupid enough to attack from a side turned stance so that the delayed string counts as a counter hit
- Them being at an angle to a wall
- Them choosing a lightweight character (it doesn’t work on heavyweights to my knowledge)
I’ve struggled out of that plenty of times.

All 80 to 90% damage combos. The 70% damage combos were too numerous to list.

Not necessarily, but when the damage output is as high as 90%, it certainly is. After a combo like that you might as well throw in the towel. Wall bounces are the worst addition to the series and they make 5 a broken game filled with death combos. VF4Evo was way better. So is Tekken 6.
All of these combos work only on one character. And require a counterhit. And a wall.

When you watch those videos, do you have even the foggiest notion of what is happening besides
the damage? The blue flashes, the yellow flashes, the frame input counters on the opponents side,
do you know what any of that means? You are not seeing people getting hit with broken combos. You
are seeing people getting hit continuously, because at certain points they are doing things they shouldn’t
be doing. Go louse up some other thread. My stupid shit-o-meter is maxed out.

Certain parts of some of them are, but other parts are, as Reno pointed out, the opponent
trying to attack from disadvantage and getting countered.
