I honestly can’t get enough of this song. It’s even one of my custom songs in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Stumbled upon a little yt channel that has some piano compilations of vg music. There’s some quality stuff on it.
Sonic 1 themes on Piano. The slow revised version of Green Hill Zone is probably my favorite out of the set. I’m still debating whether or not it was played by one person in a single session though (someone also asks this in the comments), but it sounds great regardless.
I also listened to some of the Act Raiser and CT uploads on the channel. A shame it doesn’t have more views.
Some of the stuff Shoji Meguro did before he ever started working on Persona 3 and 4 is amazing - especially the battle tracks.

Another great DS rpg was Devil Survivor 2. Kenji Ito (Romancing Saga series) did the music for this game. He’s got that signature bass sound from the SNES Saga games but also incorporates a lot of piano and electric guitar.

There are a couple things I want to point out but I don’t have much time so I’ll do one for now and try to do some more later tonight
Sonic & Knuckles ‘Doomsday’ by elzfernomusic
source is ‘Doomsday Zone’. So this track starts out quite soft and melodic with a few guitar notes and then it comes and hits hard with some good ole fashioned metal. The later end can especially be heavy and I love the way the guitar sounds in this mix. It’s fairly straight forward with the source easily recognizable from the soft beginning and all through the thrashing throughtout the track. My favorite remix of Doomsday Zone comes from the Project Chaos album and this pretty much comes to a close second to that right now.

I forgot to say there was small issue I had with ‘Doomsday’ and it’s the fact that overall volume is pretty low, especially when listening to it on better speakers.

Source is ‘Wily Stage 2’. Like electronica? Like your Megaman music with a slight rave vibe? Check this mix out. Apparently Disco Dan was an OG mixer back in the day…Still sounds pretty good to me.
I also didn’t know that Jeremy Soule had did his own interpretation of Terra’s theme from FFVI in an orchestral arrangement on the site which I had found out from listening to to anorchestral ReMix of ‘Dark World’

I’m having mixed feelings on this ReMix of Concrete Man’s stage. I actually like the way how the lyrics sound and the idea behind it. I really dig the background music as well for it but at the same I’m having a hard time recognizing the source through most of the track save in the most obvious places.
