So I take it everyone here is cool with sharing in MP3 format? Over at the Galbadia forums, some folks are whining and moaning about having their stuff in Flac and Loseless, which has really nice sound quality, but is stupidly huge on space. Just thought I’d ask since nobody here seems to have a problem with MP3, which is fine by me.

mp3 format is fine for me…nice quality sound without taking up a completely absurd amount of space. I’m sure this will become less and less of an issue as technology grows and most standard computers come equipped with Terrabyte harddrives. That space that isn’t being taken up by music I can easily used for other things.

To me, mp3 sounds brilliant and has excellent compatibility.
I would hate to have a mindset like that or otherwise, I wouldn’t over half my collection.
Gamerips, Emulated music conversions, sometimes recordings are fine by me.
But yeah, Mp3 is good for sharing.
