Hmm… I’ll throw it up on another server, the main box is likely getting hammered. I’ll post the link in a bit.

Castevania: Harmony of Dissonance 'Swingin with Death’
Source is ‘Succesor of Fate’. I didn’t know the track by name so i did a quick youtube search on the source and instantly recognized it and then listened the the remix. Source is easily heard through out it and it sounds like it goes through a bunch of styles. I dug it.
Knuckles’ Chaotix 'Door into Choatix’
Source is ‘Door into Summer’. I’m gonna assume he meant to mispell Chaotix on purpose…in any case, I’ve only played a little bit of Knux’ Chaotix and from what little I did play the music didn’t stick. This track is pretty chip tuney so if you’re into that stuff and you’ve played this game then you’ll probably dig this mix.
Let’s burn it up! I’ll chit on your gravestone!

Since Halloween is practically here, I am interested to find out what VG themes creep you out and why. You know, those themes that make you feel uncomfortable or bring back eerie memories. They may not even sound creepy to other listeners, but to you it may be a different story. Here are five themes that I came up with:
oq0UHD2sWLY"]Maximum Carnage Cutscene Music - I had Mortal Kombat II on the SNES back in the day and on the back of the instruction manual was I would have regular nightmares because of it and playing that game and hearing that music during the cutscenes has always reminded me of those days.
(up to 30sec mark, SPOILER ALERT) - Its not long, but its a really creepy theme imo. I think it may have been used another time in the game, but I am not sure. It would definitely be effective for some haunted house music.
- This memory is much more recent since I played this game just last year. It was 5 a.m. in the morning and this portion of the game totally caught me off guard. I eventually decided to just quit and resume during the day because it was really starting to trip/creep me out. The music was a major factor. Its funny even at an older age you can still be frightened by certain things in games.
- Nothin’ like good old 8 bit music. When I reached this part of the game as a kid, I used to always ride my bike so I didn’t have to hear this theme rofl. I nearly forgot about that memory, but this music brought it all back. Great stuff.
- Where to begin with this one… this game is the darkest game in the Zelda series (fuck all that noise with TP taking that crown) and this is one of the reasons why. I HATED waiting for that tower to open and hearing this music as all that creepy shit happened. Its the perfect theme for that situation and always made me panic. It wasn’t until years later that I got the nerve to finally find out what happens when time runs out. Fantastic stuff from K?ji Kond? and T?ru Minegishi.
I haven’t played many horror games in recent years so my list is pretty random. I would like to know what themes you think fit into the Halloween category.
“What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk! Have at you!”
Yup. Since it’s Halloween, I thought I’d post some Castlevania/Akumajo Dracula music. Don’t forget to download each part so you can extract the entire file.
Lots of stuff to choose from. OSTs, arrange music and some fan works. I tried to gather up as much 'Vania music as I could find so I hope everyone is able to find what they seek.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 'Down to Hydrocity’s Nightclub’
source is ‘Hydrocity Zone’. Loved this =D. Very hot ReMix IMO from start to finish. The name for this song is so fitting too since that’s exactly what this song sounds like where a band is just jamming out on the stage in a night club. I think I’m on my 10th time listening to this as of this typing.
