whens a new Fate fighting game tho

Probably never. The Musou games did better then any of the fighters did financially and with a remake of Extra it looks like they are trying to dive into the rpg genre again.

If they ever do a fighter again it won’t be for a while still I suspect.

Outside of a few instances where I got critical hit either by a Boss or a certain monsters like the Restless Armor, Gigantes, etc I haven’t really had issues in terms of difficulty.

But, as DQ has always dictated, the back half of the game usually takes you out of your comfort zone. It’ll make you actually learn how to strategize and learn the ins-and-outs of your party members.

idk, maybe it’s because I haven’t grinded much back in DQ8, but that game fucking slapped my shit real hard. A lot of bosses were a struggle already, and by the time I got to the “dark world” nearly every monster could two or three shot my party members. I don’t have the PS2 copy anymore and my PC isn’t good enough for emulation, so I keep praying for an HD remaster so I can do a proper playthrough for that. God, DQ8 was incredible.

This is fuckin timely, I just finished Zero and UBW like a month ago. And it’s a turn based RPG and not an arena fighter, bought

that gematsu article said they want to but they’d have to come up with some way to skirt sony’s new censorship policies.

Sony’s inconsistency on that is pretty fucked. Can’t have sexyness, but tlou2 has blatant on screen fucking. I get developers distress over this.

Sony isn’t the only game in town tho, Triple C would run just fine on a Switch and that’s not a market share to sneeze at. I get wanting everything in one place to tho. It’s a tough situation. An annoying situation, I don’t need Sony telling me what I can and can not consume.

also i think the reason why granblue got a fighting game is the granblue creators are big fans of fighting games to the point where several characters are blantent snk ripoffs .

i don’t know if any of the fate developers give two shits about fighting games.

I…want…

An Arc Systems Fate fighting game would be baller. I’d love to wreck fools with Rider and his chariot

They are also killing it in the mobile sphere to the point they can probably afford to make a move in a niche genre. Fate only kills in the Anime dovision, its still not a massive splash in the gaming sphere.

Also helps they signed up with one of the leading developers for fighters right now.

@Geesepants oooooh a new Jet Set Radio style game eh?

Woah! That already looks sick. I love Lethal League, I’ll def give this a chance.

I still need to beat a Jet Set game. Future was the first game I had for my Xbox all those years ago and I still never beat it. Wish it came to PC or something, probably gonna have to emulate it.

I just found out that Hideki Naganuma was the composer for JSR…and JSRF.

Nice!

Nowadays you have to have some fighting game fans in charge to get one made unless you are working for SNK, Capcom or Bandai Namco.

Edit: Arc Systems too.

Lol @ lady who tries to present the story for OoT as her own original work. The fact that she barely changed some of the names is ballsy AF.
