My advice is don’t. I made that mistake with death stranding and I profoudly regret it. Always watch/read reviews of games you’re not sure about.
I did it with TLOU2 this time, the game is trash I’d have hated paying 60 for this lousy game.

That reminds me tho-- yeah there was a time back in those early days of “FMV” games where I was thinking that was the future of gaming…fortunately I was wrong. I was a kid that was momentarily amazed by games that looked like you’re playing actual movies and tv shows, or full cartoons like Dragon’s Lair.

Pretty sure it was probably me…I’m not sure about the entertainment prospects of being a moderator of a twitch chat room and trying to sleuth out who is stalking the girl streamer. I don’t think I even got through the trailer all the way through the first time cause the character or ‘gamer’ seemed to be doing everything but playing games.

I’ve noticed you’re the U.S. version of GasaWhiny. What I mean by that is is that GasaWhiny is an Omega Weeb that only plays Japanese games developed in Japan, and you’re an Omega Dudebro who only plays “AAA” Western games developed in the West. I’ve only ever seenT you talking about Uncharted, Call of Duty, Mortal Kombat and maybe Tomb Raider over the years and that’s it.
I’d like to see you take that 60 bucks that you may or may not drop on GoT and spend it on a handful of titles. Nioh 1 is 10 dollars brand new. DOOM 2016 is like 10 bucks. Wolfenstein Double Pack is like 10-20 bucks and the gunplay in those titles shiiieets on the gunplay in CoD. Battlefield games are all 10 bucks, and imo, the multiplayer smokes the MP in CoD titles.
Try something new, @axeman61 you might be surprised brojer. I tried Yakuza based on a forum post here years ago, dude said something along the lines of Yakuza 2 being the last “great” PS2 game. I picked it up and loved it, and it became one of my favorite franchises. Most of this generation has been Yakuza and Souls for me. 
So next time you’re debating on buying GoT, or making a 1000+ posts arguing with yourself on whether or not to pick up the new CoD game say fuck all that and buy some titles you’ve never tried before…shiiiieet, maybe go extra HAM and buy games in genres you’ve never tried.

Reviews need to be updated to. A game a month or two months later can be a really different experience then it was at launch and I think they should update the review to reflect the current product and Metacritic should update their metrics to match the change.
